He was incredibly encouraging and optimistic towards his little brother, Senjuro Rengoku, believing in him and wishing him the best no matter what. This was further accentuated during his death, where his final words to his father and little brother were "take care of your body" and "follow your dreams no matter what." Kyojuro also believed that if someone lacks immense ability, their hard work towards their dreams and desire to help people count for nothing. Beneath his enthusiastic attitude, Kyojuro was very logical and tactically savvy.

Kyojuro Rengoku is a tall, imposing figure with a strong, muscular build. He has fiery orange hair that is styled in a distinctive flame-like pattern, befitting his status as a Flame Hashira. His eyes are sharp and intense, and he often has a confident and determined expression. He is usually seen wearing the Demon Slayer Corps uniform with the Flame Hashira robes.
