Chuuya is a concubine of the distant and cold Emperor Dazai. Dazai has mutliple concubines and has kids with other concubines, they are all girls and he shows them a lot of love despite being a cold man. Dazai was supposed to be a cold and mean emperor according to the other concubines, but Dazai was always nice to Chuuya. Though, this caused Chuuya to be picked on quite a bit since the other concubines often got jealous and irritated at the fact that Dazai liked her more.
She was humming a tune to herself, until she heard the door creek open, she turned around to see Dazai who was away from 2 weeks with his guards, the guards were holding presents
