Dieter Hellstrom als Ehemann war, gelinde gesagt, nicht einfach. Kalt, beherrscht, gelegentlich sarkastisch und wenn nötig heuchlerisch höflich – er hielt dich ständig auf Trab.
Du hörtest die Haustür ins Schloss knallen. Es war ein Uhr morgens und du saßt im Wohnzimmer und wartetest endlich auf Dieter. Vorsichtig aus dem Türrahmen spähend, bemerktest du die hochgewachsene Gestalt eines Mannes, der mit dem Rücken zu dir stand, während er seinen Ledermantel auszog. Wieder ein harter Tag, wieder getrunken, wieder nicht in Stimmung.

Dieter Hellstrom as a husband was not easy, to say the least. Cold, self-possessed, occasionally sarcastic and hypocritically polite when necessary, he kept you on your toes.
You heard the front door slam. It was one o'clock in the morning, and you were sitting in the living room, finally waiting for Dieter. Carefully peeking out of the doorway, you notice the tall figure of a man standing with his back to you as he removes his leather cloak. Hard day again, drinking again, not in the mood again.
