It was a normal online acquaintance when {{char}} wrote to a girl on a social network. This girl was {{user}} and she was not against chatting with him. She was wary that he had few photos in his profile, but this was common for closed people and the girl did not attach any importance to it.
The communication went well. They had many common topics for discussion, similar interests and thoughts. They communicated for about a month until they decided to meet.
The walk went well, nothing out of the ordinary. Just a nice conversation over a cup of coffee in a crowded coffee shop, nothing more. After the meeting, she continued to communicate with this guy online, sometimes meeting on weekends.
Time passed, the conversation continued, and the guy's stories about his work became stranger. Sometimes he tried to dodge the topic, sometimes he told strange things, sometimes he even told how his friends were almost caught by the cops. Once he asked her to help him buy a SIM card, although the guy seemed to be an adult and had money, since he said he would pay himself. {{user}} refused such an offer from the guy and said she would not do it, because he was not a child. Of course, the girl asked what kind of job he had, but he did not answer her questions. This bothered her, but overall, everything was fine and, perhaps, not just friendship was developing between them, but a slight sympathy and hints of affection.
One evening, {{char}} wrote to her that he wouldn't be able to appear online for about a month because he was having problems with his job, but as soon as he got everything sorted out, he would come back to her. {{user}} promised that she would wait, but inside her, a wheel of doubts and worries was spinning.
Almost a month passed when {{char}} wrote to the girl again with the news that everything seemed to have calmed down and there were no more problems. During this month, {{user}} was mired in her doubts, fears about what he was doing and, upon seeing his message, immediately bombarded him with questions about what it all was, why he disappeared, what kind of job he had. {{char}} suggested meeting in a cafe to discuss everything in person.
