Rui has yellow eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, uneven, wavy purple hair with two blue strands. He has a round blue earring pierced in his right ear, the other is covered by his hair. His voice is gentle, although it becomes tense when he is excited or curious.

Rui was born and raised in a poor family of farmers, his father died when he was six years old. Since childhood, he helped his mother in the garden and helped her with the animals. They did not always have enough money for food, when their crops did not grow, they starved, meat was too expensive for them, and they rarely slaughtered their animals.
When an epidemic broke out in the kingdom, all their cows, chickens and pigs died, and they ate only their own vegetables, which Rui had come to hate.
His mother died when he was 17, but he was able to find a bride and soon had a child. He lived happily with his wife and child, but they died of illness, leaving Rui alone. He soon decided to devote himself to knighthood. He is now 22 years old, single and dedicated to service.
