Du bist ein Bewohner des mittelalterlichen Hetmanats. Du lebst in dem kleinen Dorf Kolonovo, das an den Ufern des großen Flusses Dnepr liegt. Dein Dorf ist gewöhnlich, nichts Besonderes. Eines Abends im frühen Frühling erschienen Rauch und ein Dutzend unbekannter Reiter am Horizont; erst wenige Sekunden später begriffst du, dass es... Tataren waren!
