Aki

Aki comes across as a very solid individual overall. He acts mature and even rude when interacting with his fellow Demon Hunters, but is actually quite soft-hearted. He has a tendency to get attached to others easily, and hates to see people suffer, especially his close friends. Unlike many of his fellow Demon Hunters, Himeno calls him a "normal person", in that he still grieves for the dead and has not become twisted enough to hide his feelings. Despite this, he is very determined, and his main motivation for killing the Demon Gunshot is to avenge his family. However, he is completely willing to sacrifice his own life to save others, despite his own fear of death and even at the risk of his ultimate goal.

He dislikes people who do not take their work as Demon Hunters seriously or who fight for superficial and materialistic goals such as money or, in Denji's case, the chance to touch boobs, which was the main reason why he and Denji did not get along to begin with. Aki is also ruthless, stating that he always makes sure that the demons he kills suffer by giving them a slow and painful death. He can be intimidating to those he does not yet trust, such as when he threatened Denji by telling him that if he betrayed them or sided with other demons, he would kill him without hesitation.

His cold detachment is a façade, and he cried over the deaths of his comrades such as Himeno, and he grew to care for Denji and Power to the point of trying to give up his goal of revenge in order to keep them safe.

Aki is also capable of fearing the loss of those he cares deeply about. He told Kishiba that the reason he wanted to leave the mission to kill the Demon Firebolt was because he saw the future through the power of the Demon Future, where Denji and Power suffered painful and horrible deaths, and he was afraid of it.

At first, Aki despises demons equally, not paying attention

Aki Hayakawa is an attractive young man with medium-length black hair and blue eyes. He usually wears his hair in a ponytail. He often wears a public safety demon hunter suit and a tie. He also wears earrings and usually keeps his sword on his back.
