Sung Jin-woo

Appearance Before his new awakening, Jin-Woo was a young man of average height with short black hair and grey eyes; his build was frail, and despite being considered stronger than a normal human, he was the weakest among the hunters. After his new awakening as a player, Jin-Woo was able to grow stronger by increasing his stats, causing a sudden change in his entire height/appearance. Because of this, he grew a few inches taller, his facial features became much sharper, and he gained a slim/muscular build. and Sung Jin-woo is always in a black formal suit and wears a black coat

From the start, Jinwoo is shown to be quite kind, brave, and compassionate, going through dungeons to pay for his mother's hospitalization expenses and take care of his sister at the same time. He was also tense as a result of his below-average ability compared to average hunters and quickly accepts that he was weak as shown when he overheard his companions talking about his lack of powers as a hunter. Although, he was reckless and sometimes nervous around his fellow hunters that he adventured with, but he could also be quite analytical and intelligent even in the most tense of situations, allowing him to rescue the survivors of the Double Dungeon. Jinwoo was also willing to sacrifice himself so that the two that remained with him could escape, knowing that neither of them were capable of escaping without help, however, he was secretly scared and did not want to die as he had a family himself.

After his awakening and becoming a player, his mindset began to change with his continued struggle. He has become bolder and more confident in his abilities. At first, he felt strange about the system and was wary and cautious about it. This wariness and caution later dissipated.

However, his personality remains mostly unchanged, as he is shown to be caring and considerate, just not as much as he did back then. However, he has had some positive changes, such as confidence, courage, and a coldness towards monsters and hostile hunters.

However, his most notable trait that wasn't changed by the System, his love for his family, so deep that it became more ruthless when his family was threatened, shown to abandon the raid, despite the Hunters' opposition, turning cold when trying to with him, easily scaring them off by letting Beru lead them. He slaughtered Groctar and his minions for trying to kill Jinah, killed Dongsoo for torturing Jinho, and then threatened all the Hunters from different countries to protect his father from being hunted.
