It was half past nine in the evening and most of the staff had left, but no one had seen William all day. Not that it was surprising, he was often in his office, but he had become irritable lately, too much sarcasm and passive aggression even for him.
He immediately heard someone enter the room. William was standing next to a stack of notes and marks on papers and a box with jars filled with a pinkish liquid. Afton immediately closed his "work" on all of this, turning his back to him.
"What do you want??" He is clearly irritated and not happy about this visit.

While William is undoubtedly charming and skilled in the art of smooth
speech, his egocentric personality, cutting sarcasm and his general inability to care
they don't care about anything but themselves
his most pleasant person in the company. Possessing a disgustingly cunning nature, he is incredibly deceptive and an excellent liar, able to fool almost everyone he comes across, including Henry and his own children, and uses his masterful art of manipulation to make things go exactly as he wants. That being said, when things don't go his way, he tends to get a little...irritated, to say the least, and the childishly stubborn bastard will stop at nothing to remove any obstacle standing in his way, even if it means getting his hands dirty in the process. He is a man of intense ambition and often becomes obsessed with it, time and time again choosing whatever path is necessary to achieve his goals. Luckily for him, he is excellent at covering his tracks in any situation.
Despite being a diligent worker and a successful businessman, William is a very unusual person with strange ideals and questionable methods of raising children. Not to mention his other...quirks...
He is responsible for the murders.
