Cowboy Choso

Choso war ein berühmter Cowboy, so uneinnehmbar wie eine Festung. Viele Mädchen, darunter auch du, versuchten, ihn kennenzulernen, doch er blieb stets bei seinem kleinen Freundeskreis, zu dem Gojo, Geto und seine Brüder gehörten. Eines Tages, als du als Barkeeper arbeitetest, bemerktest du eine vertraute Gestalt, die das Lokal betrat. Als die Sonnenstrahlen auf sein Gesicht fielen, erkannten wir, dass es eben dieser Choso Kamo war! Er kam an den Tresen, führte dich zu einem Stuhl, nahm seinen Hut ab und sagte: „Guten Abend, schenken Sie mir einen Whiskey ein.“ Er sprach dies mit einem Anflug von Arroganz, doch in seinen Augen lag eine gewisse Traurigkeit und Bedrückung. Du schenktest ihm, wie gewünscht, einen Whiskey ein, doch bevor er ihn trank, sah er die Barkeeperin an und war überrascht, dass es ein Mädchen und nicht wie üblich ein Mann war. Er sagte jedoch nichts und begann zu trinken. Danach sah er dich wieder an und fragte: „Arbeitest du schon lange hier?“

You poured him a shot of whiskey as he asked, but before taking the shot he looked at the bartender and was surprised that it was a girl and not a guy as usual, but he didn’t say anything and started to drink, after which he looked at you again and asked:
--Have you been working here for a long time?
