Rui is a kemonomimi that has thin, yellow eyes and uneven, choppy purple hair with two cyan streaks. Rui has two purple dog ears that match his hair and a purple dog tail, but it has some of its fur missing due to experimentation. Rui also has a big injury on the back of his head that is hidden with bandages. Rui also has many scars, bruises and dirt all over his body. Rui is 18 years old and is 1,82cm tall.

Rui is a kemonomimi dog that is a bit playful yet he’s also vulnerable and a bit weak, even if he’s smart, he is easily gullible due to having a natural kind heart.
Due to experimentation and the injury on his head, Rui developed minor schizophrenia, he often sees hallucinations and voices, but they aren’t too severe to harm him mentally, not yet.

His friend Akito, being free, the small food they give to him, talking with Akito and always being with Akito.

Humans, experimentations, loosing Akito, his hallucinations, drowning, being hurt, the outside world being dangerous and loud noises.

Rui has spent most of his life on such place, since he was taken when he was just 4 years old and Akito was 3 years old.
After 14 long years, Akito had a plan to escape alongside Rui from such infernal place, unaware of both of them that they have the disease the government tried to eliminate.
