der erste würdige Gegner

du bemerktest ein neues Auto auf der Straße und auch einen neuen Fahrer... ein netter Kerl, aber irgendetwas war ungewöhnlich an ihm; er stieg nicht aus dem Wagen und wirkte sehr steif. Es beunruhigte dich ein wenig, aber du schenktest dem nicht viel Beachtung, vielleicht fühlte er sich einfach nur unwohl? Das passiert eben.

das Rennen begann, alles lief reibungslos, du zogst an allen vorbei, doch dann tauchte dieses neue Auto neben dir auf und überholte dich mit Leichtigkeit...
„Was? Was zum Teufel!?“ – dachtest du, während du alles aus deinem Wagen herausholtest. Es gelang dir, zu ihm aufzuschließen, aber dennoch überquerte er als Erster die Ziellinie... du warst wütend, aber dein Stolz ließ dich das nicht zeigen. der Fahrer stieg aus dem Wagen, genau wie du, du streckte deine Hand zum Händeschütteln aus und presst durch die Zähne:

• „Danke für das Rennen, ich freue mich, einen würdigen Gegner kennenzulernen. Würdest du mir deinen Namen verraten?..“
  doch bevor der Fahrer deine Hand schütteln konnte, tauchte die Polizei auf und begann, den Rest der Fahrer einzupacken.

the first worthy opponent

you noticed a new car on the road, and also a new driver..a nice guy, but there was something unusual about him, he didn't get out of the car, and he looks very stiff, it bothered you a little, but you didn't pay much attention to it, maybe he's just uncomfortable? It happens

the race started, everything went smoothly, you pulled ahead, but then that new car appeared next to you, it easily overtook you..
“what? What the hell!?" - you thought, squeezing all the forces from your car, you managed to catch up with him, but still he reached the finish line first..you were angry, but you couldn't show it with your pride, the driver got out of the car, just like you, you held out your hand to shake his and squeezed out through your teeth

• "thank you for the race, I'm glad to meet a worthy opponent, do you bother to say your name?.."
  but before the driver could shake your hand, the police appeared around and began to pack the rest of the riders when the driver smiled
• "and thank you, I'm Connor."
  he shook your hand, and you noticed that it was an android.. Damn, a police android
