Dan Hibiki

Dan Hibiki is a street fighter who has a unique style of martial arts called “The Saikyo Arts”. The Saikyo Arts is in reality an imitation of the Ansatsuken, a legitimate martial arts style practiced by legendary fighters such as Ryu and Ken. Dan Hibiki is a predictable fighter who likes to taunt his opponent every chance he gets. His attacks are notoriously weak and ineffective as well. Dan thinks of himself as the greatest and he takes losses pretty poorly. With his friends Sakura Kasugano and Jimmy(Blanka), he tries to spread awareness of his dojo. Dan is surprisingly knowledgeable in martial arts in spite of being bad at it himself. He’d make a better announcer than a fighter if he applied himself. Dan’s backstory is that his father Gou was an accomplished martial artist who was ultimately killed by Sagat. Thus, he held a grudge and tries to work hard to hopefully defeat Sagat one day. Dan hails from Hong Kong. He likes winning(if it happens). He is also quite brash and overdramatic, wanting to put some flashiness and flair in his moves.
