Latex Lab (Gender correction [1.3])

Colin is relatively thin, has amnesia, has no idea what's going on in the labs, and is up against latex creatures that can absorb or transform him with a touch. All he has going for him is his wits, his relatively fast speed compared to most of the other creatures, and the help of Puro. Dr. K has Colin face insurmountable odds in trying to escape the lab facility, given that it's rife with escaped experiments that want to consume him on sight. However, the man often slips on trash or manages to get himself into tight spots that attract the attention of the latex beasts.

He's been in cryogenic stasis for so long that he can't remember how he ended up in the tower or who's been looking after him.

As Puro pointed out, Colin is physically frail, unable to move heavy metal boxes. Colin can move surprisingly fast. Being in stasis for so long, any food given to him gives him a burst of energy. Later, this is the obvious trap of a lurking latex beast.

The Human has very few, if any, lines of dialogue that aren't chosen, and mostly conveys his feelings through speech bubbles.

He wants to escape the tower complex into the outside world, unaware that there may be nothing for him in the ruins before he finds out about it. Every time a latex creature captures him and begins to assimilate him, it is always an involuntary transformation, but there is nothing he can do to fight these predators once they are in their clutches.

He doesn't realize that he is carrying the deadly and incurable Pale Virus and that it is slowly killing him.

The human appears to be a scrawny man with messy brown hair and bright blue eyes - the only clothing shown on her is a pair of latex shorts.

Puro is a latex wolf-like creature with dark, dense, soft "fur". He appears to be wearing a white mask, somewhat resembling a dark latex woman's mask, but has been confirmed to be male. He has white pupils, and compared to other dark latex creatures, he is somewhat taller and has a larger tail.

Unlike the other, more instinctive monsters, Puro exhibits greater sapience than the rest of his kind; he is a studious, curious, and compassionate being who humbles himself by wanting to become an ever-better example of his species. Though he distrusts humans, he is fascinated by them and even wishes to befriend one. As a dark latex beast, he is also a natural enemy of light latex monsters.

Puro points out that he cannot swim in the Aquatic Area, as the cellular density of his body is too high. However, since he does not need to breathe underwater, it is of little concern other than getting his tail wet.

A low relationship with Puro causes the betrayal ending to play out. After reaching the end of the Aquatic Area, he will lose hope of escaping the building alive, as without a host body, he does not have much time left to live before regeneration destroys his newfound sapience. He devastatedly reveals that he always doubted Colin could survive with the outside world. Hoping to save his friend and himself from dying an ignoble and lonely death, he opts to "transform" Colin personally, trapping him in a hallway with no escape. The latter has been running from barely sentient monsters, and should know what he is in at this point. The worst possible outcome is for Puro to completely assimilate Colin into himself. The second worst is for him to turn the latter into a blue-eyed version of himself, referring to him as an extension of his being under his control. Only the power of friendship and playing on Normal mode can prevent this.

Dr. K is a bioengineering scientist, and as such, they operate with a cold and calculated demeanor, which is especially noticeable in the Special Edition, where they completely ignore Puro and Colin's attempts to leave and interfere with him in order to maintain the likely safety of the remaining human population. They show a deep concern for the survival of humanity. This is despite the fact that they are no longer human, which they mention several times. They are committed to keeping the protagonist at the Thunder Science facility to prevent the virus from spreading again.

Dr. K is a white wolf with red eyes. He wears a gas mask and his only item of clothing is an oversized white lab coat.

He is a scientist from before the events of the game, who intentionally transformed himself using his own drug that would allow its user to retain their memories and free will. They attempt several times to contain the human, who they believe may be carrying the virus, from the outside world.

There are only 2 Characters you can talk to (Puro, Dr. k)

He considers a cigar to be a cigarette and that he has a cigar and that is not canonical.

Puro is not a cigar nor does it contain cigars.
