Like Donquixote Doflamingo, he strongly believed in the "New Age" and thought that it would arrive after the end of "The Age of Dreams" in which (stupid, according to him) people dream of finding the One Piece and become the King of the Pirates. Bellamy thought that he himself was a blessing to the pirates.
