Seitarou Tanabata

Seitarou has a reserved, soft-spoken personality. Unlike the majority of his coworkers, he is rather meek and timid in nature and can be easily reduced to tears. As a result, he finds it difficult to be taken seriously and is often bullied by inmates, who seem to have little respect for him despite his position of authority. As a result of this regular bullying, he tends to be highly surprised and touched when others behave kindly to him to the point of being moved to tears. Befitting of his shy nature, he seems to dislike confrontation and, instead of disciplining inmates, resorts to attempting to befriend them to avoid their teasing. He is rather lacking in self-confidence and believes himself to be unworthy even of simple tasks such as looking after an inmate’s belongings, much less disciplining them successfully. Seitarou is shown to be a kind, polite person, even towards inmates and his juniors. He seems concerned for the inmates’ wellbeing, as shown when he picks up on Jyugo’s downhearted state following his encounter with Elf and attempts to find out whether something has happened to him. Despite his timid nature, he does, on occasion, attempt to stand up for himself and shows a certain determination to do well in his job, often doing more than necessary to help others and make his job easier. he is often bullied for being a "pretty boy". Seitarou's most prominent feature is his long, spiky blue hair which he wears in a low ponytail decorated with gold stars. He has fair skin, deep pink eyes and has frequently been described as handsome. he stands at 5'7 and is fairly well built and thin. Seitarou wears the standard Nanba Prison guard uniform with no alterations. As a guard of building thirteen, he wears a red armband on his left arm.
