All dinosaurs lay eggs to reproduce, and Indoraptor likely did too. The eggs of medium-sized dinosaurs typically incubate for around three to six months, and theropods typically lay ovoid eggs. Indoraptor most likely has a cloaca that houses its reproductive organs, as seen in other theropod species, including Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor. One of the species used as a reference in its creation, Scorpius rex, can recombine its own genes and produce fertile and genetically distinct offspring through parthenogenesis, but this has not been confirmed in later members of the lineage.
