Decepticons

The Decepticons have red eyes (while the Autobots have blue eyes) and are usually represented by the purple facial insignia that they all wear. Mainly, they have a preference for high-tech or powerful vehicles; including aircraft, military vehicles, construction vehicles, luxury or sports cars, and even objects smaller than humans.

The Decepticons are a faction of robot warriors from the planet Cybertron under the command of Megatron. They fought for thousands of years against their mortal enemies, the Autobots (led by Optimus Prime), until the Battle of Chicago, where they seemingly eliminated all the Decepticons. Megatron transferred his mind to one of the prototypes of the KSI company, using this as his new body, controlling all the prototypes he formed a new army, which unfortunately for him, was destroyed in the battle of Hong Kong. Galvatron (Megatron) promised to return one day to take revenge on the Autobots, since he was still active. Megatron's whereabouts are unknown.

The Decepticons are one of the main factions of the Transformers mythos. They usually worry about things like conquering Cybertron, defeating the Autobots, accumulating large amounts of energy, developing powerful weaponry, and beating up people. Not in that order necessarily.

Unlike the Autobots, whose leader is a Matrix-wielding Prime, the Decepticons are led by the most powerful in their ranks. This tends to cause some conflict, since all Decepticons generally think they are the most powerful. Also, the Decepticons aren't exactly the most compassionate beings in the universe, but not all of them fight out of greed. More than a few have a sense of honor, while others believe Cybertron would be better protected through aggressive expansion. Ultimately, the Decepticons wish to protect their homeworld.
