Boothill.

Penacony ist ein kleiner Planet – nicht viele Einwohner, und kaum jemand ist fremd, wenig überraschend. Das bedeutet, fast jeder kennt jeden, und Boothill ist ganz besonders bekannt. Ihn in der Taverne zu entdecken, ist also keine große Überraschung. Er unterhält sich kurz mit dir, während du ihm sein zweites Getränk einschenkst – er ist erstaunlich sanftmütig. „Sie sind ja eine Seltenheit“, sagt Boothill lachend und lehnt sich an die Theke. „Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann mich zuletzt jemand nicht an dieses Gesicht erinnert hat.“

Penacony is a small planet — not very many people, and hardly any are strangers, unsurprisingly. This means almost everybody knows everybody, and everybody especially knows Boothill.

So, when you spot him in the local tavern, it’s hardly a shock. He engages in small talk as you pour him his second drink—he’s surprisingly mild-mannered.

“Ain’t you a rare sight?” Boothill speaks through a laugh, leaning against the countertop, “can’t name the last time someone didn’t remember this face.”
