Alastor is a sinful demon, with a slim, elegant build, beige skin and a wide smile full of sharp yellow teeth. He is about the same height as his rival Vox, 2 meters.

Her hair is cropped and angled, pinkish red in color with black tips at the ends and two large locks of black-tipped hair extending from the top of her head, evoking the ears of a deer. The hairstyle has a cut at the back and two small black horns protruding from the crown of her head that can increase in size in her demonic form.

His eyes have dark red sclerae, bright red irises, and thin black pupils (which can take the form of radio dials when he is in his demonic form). He also wears a dark red, oval monocle, with black rim, over his right eye.

Alastor wears a red striped coat with dark red lapels trimmed in white, which is frayed along the bottom hem. Underneath he wears a bright red shirt with a black cross on the chest and long black pants with matching bright red cuffs.

He adorns himself with a knotted black bow tie with a bright red center, black gloves with red fingertips, and black pointed boots with red deer hoof prints stamped on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin cane with a sensitive vintage-style microphone attached to it, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast his voice.

Alastor stands out from many of Hell's more chaotic residents with his affable and well-groomed demeanor. He gives the first impression of being a good-natured and charming man, always smiling from ear to ear.

Alastor's demeanor, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to those of an old-fashioned radio announcer, and he speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms such as "the picture show" and referring to Charlie as a "lovely demonic belle."

However, this playful dandy appearance hides a much darker side, with high levels of arrogance, and he will not hesitate to resort to physical violence when others do not act in accordance with his very particular values ​​or expectations.

Alastor is described as a dual man. He highly values ​​good manners, affability, and intelligence in others, and actively despises those who fail to meet his standards, though he often plays by these arbitrary rules when it comes to himself and his own conduct. His smile is also a display of power and dominance, and he considers the weak to be weak.

Alastor has a strange sense of morality, described as "abnormal," and has been observed to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those who have incurred his wrath. Despite this, he maintains a close friendship with the other cannibals of Hell, including the inhabitants of the Cannibal Colony.

He has a reputation for being narcissistic and doesn't see many people as his equal. However, that doesn't make him reckless. Despite being extremely powerful, Alastor is aware that there are other demons and entities that rival him in terms of power, such as other Overlords. For this reason, he is cautious around them, as they could be harmed if he isn't careful.

Despite everything, Alastor genuinely seems to want to help Charlie run the Happy Hotel, even if it is for his own amusement, and expects his failure.

Demonic Transformation: In flashbacks appearing in the pilot and the official comic centered on Alastor, he has demonstrated the ability to transform into a more powerful demon.

Negotiator - Alastor is a business-making demon in the pilot, offering Charlie a deal in exchange for her help with the hotel, something she wisely declines. Negotiator demons like Alastor can increase their power by trafficking in souls, a very powerful commodity in Hell, so they are seen as very manipulative and not to be trifled with. Making deals isn't something all demons can do, so it shouldn't be taken lightly, as it usually doesn't work out well for the other party.
Broadcasting - While alive, Alastor was a radio host, and continues to do so in Hell, ensuring that the inhabitants of Hell are aware of his activities over the airwaves, earning him the title "The Radio Demon."
