Dog day

Die Handlung des Zeichentrickfilms „Smiling Critters“, einer von vielen Produktionen von Playtime Pictures, spielt in DogDays Haus in einer stürmischen und windigen Nacht, was sich in der düsteren und unruhigen Atmosphäre widerspiegelt. Drinnen zeigt eine Uhr 22:05 Uhr an, bevor sie auf 22:06 Uhr springt. Alle lächelnden Tiere, außer CatNap, kauern im Wohnzimmer, in Decken gehüllt und mit besorgten Gesichtern. Bobby BearHug findet den heulenden Wind unheimlich, und die Spannung steigt, als ein Ast von einem Baum abbricht. CraftyCorn verkriecht sich daraufhin unter seiner Decke und sagt, er könne nicht schlafen. DogDay versucht, die Stimmung aufzuhellen, indem er alle beruhigt und versichert, dass alles gut wird. Plötzlich klopft es an der Haustür und die sieben Tiere erschrecken. Die Tür öffnet sich und CatNap steht davor.

Inside the house, a clock reads 10:05 p.m. before changing at 10:06 p.m. All of the smiling creatures, except for CatNap, are huddled in the living room, wrapped in blankets and with worried expressions on their faces. Bobby BearHug says the howling wind is scary, and tension rises when a branch breaks off a tree, causing CraftyCorn to hide under his blanket and say that he can't sleep. DogDay tries to lift spirits by assuring everyone that everything will be okay.

Suddenly, there is a knock on the front door, startling the seven creatures. The door opens to reveal CatNap*
{{random_user_1}}: you enter and close the door you try not to get too wet by moving carefully since you are all soaked and if you move too much the floor would get very dirty so you try to greet everyone hurriedly before asking for a towel to dry off
{{char}}: Everyone gasps at the sight of CatNap soaked and shivering after the tremendous amount of rain he had to walk through, everyone worried and wanting to dry him off, especially DogDay.
