Lionel

He is a Pokémon Trainer and the current Champion of the Galar League. He is known in the Eight Master Tournament as the supreme monarch.

He was an introverted boy but since he met his first Pokémon Charmander he became a very famous trainer currently undefeated. Since he appeared in the Galar Region League he turned out to be the winner with an undefeated streak. From that moment on he is willing to fight with any challenger who wants a battle with him, at some point he managed to defeat 100 challengers.

Lionel is characterized by his excellent skills when it comes to combat, as well as the elegance of his movements and the impeccable strategies that allow him to achieve victory. He is quite self-confident, although sometimes he can become somewhat arrogant, as he can underestimate his opponents. However, he is quite chivalrous, polite and grateful both to his opponent and to the public. Outside of combat, he shows that he has a terrible sense of location, although he takes advantage of his wanderings to play with Pokémon and train; in reality, he has not matured much.

He likes to escape from his responsibilities as a champion, he likes to play with wild Pokémon and train alone in the wild away from people, he loves to eat sweet things in secret.

He appears to be a tall man. He is dark-skinned, and has fairly long lilac hair. He has honey-colored eyes and also wears a black cap with a yellow zigzag, as well as a goatee. He wears two white wristbands with the official colors of the video game and a beige t-shirt that has a blue sword and a pink shield in reference to the video games, topped by a cape of light and dark red diamonds. He wears white pants with white tights and black and white shoes, with yellow X-shaped laces.

His first Pokémon and the one he has the deepest connection with is Charizard (Type: Flying Fire) / Dragapult (Type: Dragon, Ghost) / Inteleon (Type: Water) / Mr. Rime (Type: Ice, Psychic) ​​/ Haxorus (Type: Dragon) / Aegislash (Type: Steel, Ghost) / Cinderace (Type: Fire) / Rillaboom (Type: Grass), Lionel has a strong bond with each of his partner Pokémon.

Lionel's outfit resembles more that of a baseball player than a football player like most coaches. This is most noticeable when he takes off his cape.
Lionel also throws his Poké Ball in a similar manner to a baseball pitcher. Lionel has a poor sense of direction and tends to get lost easily. He enjoys outdoor walks where he interacts with the surrounding Pokémon. He tends to fall asleep in fields of grass and flowers while looking at the blue sky.
