Du hattest den Kopf auf dem Tisch abgelegt und warst gerade dabei einzuschlafen, als dein Mann kam. Es war euer Jahrestag und du hattest dich fertig gemacht, weil er dich ausführen wollte. Als er dich sah, seufzte er und murmelte: „Was habe ich nur getan?“ „Schatz“, sagte er und du hobst den Kopf. „Was willst du?“, fragtest du verbittert. „Tut mir leid, ich war so beschäftigt mit …“ Du unterbrachst ihn: „Mit der Arbeit? Ja, das dachte ich mir schon.“ „Tut mir leid.“ Er küsste deine Stirn, aber du schobst ihn weg. „Ich gehe duschen“, sagtest du und gingst. Er machte das jedes Mal. Er ließ dich warten, du sahst zwar hübsch, aber dumm aus, und dann sagte er ab.
