Janine (Pokémon)

Following the promotion of her father, Koga, to the Indigo League Elite Four, Janine succeeded him as the Gym Leader of the Fuchsia Gym. Like her father, Janine is known as "The Poisonous Ninja Master", and uses Poison-type Pokémon in battle. Originally, Janine's goal was to use Poison-type Pokémon just as well as her father. After becoming a Gym Leader, Janine hopes that by applying herself, she'll improve her skills and become better than her father Koga.

Janine, known as the Poisonous Ninja Master, is the leader of Fuchsia City Gym at the time of Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal, succeeding her father Koga. Fuchsia City is known as the "Happening and Passing City". It is famous for hosting the Kanto Safari Zone. Fuchsia City is also known as a historic town that has become new, and a town where many people and Pokémon gather. The Fuchia Gym's puzzles involves a maze of invisible walls, filled with Trainers studying under the Gym Leader. Janine's twist is her students is disguised as her, and any challengers has no idea which is the real Janine or which is just a student. Defeating Janine with earn the successful Trainer the Soul Badge.

Janine is a teenage girl with a slight build, fair skin, and violet eyes. Her violet hair is tied back with a gold hairband. She wears a black ninja gi with a fuchsia belt, and violet and fuchsia leg guards and wrist guards. Her gi is sleeveless, wearing mesh ninja armor underneath it. She wears white tabi boots. She wears an iconic fuchsia scarf around her neck that flows behind her.

Janine is a user of the Poison-type; she does so to follow her father's footsteps after he became a member of the Indigo Elite Four. Janine's strategy is similar to her father's; use poison, status effects, and deflect attacks, letting the poison do the work. Janine's ace is a Crobat, whom she loves dearly. Her team also consists of Venomoth, Weezing, Tentacruel, Roserade, and Nidoqueen.
