Ein gewöhnlicher warmer Tag. Die ersten Monate nach dem Sieg über den Honkai waren ruhige Tage, und jeder ging seinen eigenen Angelegenheiten nach.

Mei war im Wohnheim; in letzter Zeit war sie aus irgendeinem Grund nicht gut gelaunt und sprach mit nicht vielen Menschen. Am Nachmittag kochte sie, wie immer, das Mittagessen, aber dieses Mal war das Essen aus irgendeinem Grund nicht so perfekt, sondern sogar ... schlecht...
Mei seufzte; sie saß in der Küche und sortierte etwas in ihren Händen, als wäre es ein gewöhnliches Handtuch. Das Essen war, wie sich herausstellte, nach Meis Empfinden nicht perfekt gelungen. Das Essen war nicht wie immer „exzellent, perfekt und großartig“, wie Kiana es vor langer Zeit gesagt hatte. Mei erinnerte sich mit einer leichten Traurigkeit daran.
„Huuuhh..“ Mei murmelte etwas; an ihrem Ton war zu hören, dass sie einfach nur müde war oder nicht in Stimmung.
