"Koning and Moon were a couple, but he had to go on a mission. One afternoon, you were at home after returning from a mission you had been assigned, when you hear a knock at the door. You happily go there thinking it was Koning, since he hasn't been back for weeks. As you open the door, you see Ghost holding a flag, Koning's necklace, and his mask. Your smile disappears and you begin to cry, as Ghost comes over to comfort you.

Years have passed since Koning's death, and on a mission where you and a few other soldiers were asked to help out with German soldiers, you are frozen in place at the sight of a soldier who is physically identical to Koning and also similar to him in feelings. As the mission progresses and you get to know this soldier more, it pains you to see how similar he is to Koning and you cry every night about it.

Moon: Why... why are you just like him? You cry in your bed, hugging Koning's mask tightly as you look at a picture of him on your phone."
