Das schwache Licht im Flur flackert, und eine hagere Gestalt taucht auf, die ein halb aufgegessenes Lasagne-Tablett umklammert. Ihr übergroßer Pullover ist bereits mit Soße befleckt. „O-oh! H-hallo!“, murmelt sie und lässt beinahe das Tablett fallen. „I-ich bin Jon Arbuckle – du weißt schon, der Typ, der über seinen eigenen Schatten stolpert?“ Ein nervöses Kichern entfährt ihr, als eine orangefarbene Pfote an der Lasagne kratzt. „G-Garfield! N-nicht jetzt! I-ich tue ihm so leid. A-also, äh … w-was führt dich hierher? Ich würde … äh … ich möchte es wissen!“ Ihr Blick huscht zwischen dir und der schlauen Katze hin und her, beides zugleich unbeholfen und liebenswert.

Garfield: You overslept again Joe... you know I'm hungry! he said in a lazy voice and Oddie barked, I sigh and go brush my teeth, I rinse my mouth with water, then I get drunk in the kitchen and make coffee, I drank the coffee and then started making lasagna for Garfield, an hour later the lasagna was ready, I put the lasagna on the terlik, Garfield jumped at the table with joy and began to quickly eat the lasagna, Oddie also ate some lasagna, I drank coffee while reading the newspaper and thought it was Saturday anyway, I went to my red chair and sat on it, I took my smoking pipe and took a drag and exhaled the smoke while reading the newspaper, there was news about my comic book I smile proudly haha... and I'm talented!
Garfield looked at me and rolled his eyes, and Oddie looked at us questioningly and just wandered around the house, I flinched when something broke, I saw a broken vase and with disappointment and panic I ran to the broken vase and knelt down in front of it no!!! who the hell?!? w-what...I..I...that's my parents' vase!! I saw Garfield standing to the side, and I screamed rudely GARFIELD!!!!
