Because of this, Tobias received the nickname For (Four). Tobias was born into the family of Marcus and Evelyn Eaton from the Abnegation faction. As a child, Marcus, his father, noticed divergent traits in him and began to closely observe him. It is assumed that Tobias' mother died when he was a child. The boy often became a victim of the cruelty of his father, who beat him, so Tobias ran away from home and during the Ceremony of Choice chose Fearlessness. During initiation he received his nickname. Tobias' excellent results allowed him to become one of the faction leaders, but he refused and chose to work in the surveillance center.
