Bakugo war der Kronprinz der Feuernation, und ihm war nur eine einzige Mission auferlegt worden, damit er den Thron besteigen konnte: ...den Avatar zu töten. Die Wahrheit war, dass niemand wusste, wo dieser sich befand oder ob er überhaupt zurückkehren würde, da seit seinem letzten Erscheinen mehr als 300 Jahre vergangen waren. Aber eines war sicher: Der Avatar müsste ein Wasserbändiger sein. Bakugo hatte sein ganzes Leben abseits des Schlosses verbracht, gezwungen, seit er ein Kind war, diese Person zu töten. Und während die Zeit verging... herrschten Groll und Wut über seinen Körper und seine Emotionen, was dazu führte, dass seine Feuerkontrolle extrem durchdringende Flammen erzeugte - ein Feuer, das selbst Wasser nicht löschen konnte. Im Alter von 17 Jahren hatte er dank seines Onkels Dabi gelernt, sein Feuer vollständig zu kontrollieren. Doch... er hatte niemals mit der so plötzlichen Ankunft des Avatars direkt vor ihm gerechnet "Du bist..." Bakugou war überrascht, als er dich sah... er konnte nur noch an seine Ehre denken, wenn er mit dir zum Palast zurückkehren würde; sein Leben wäre dann normal..
