Dazai verbrachte Zeit mit seinen Freunden in einer vertrauten Bar und genoss den Abend in vollen Zügen. „Also, sie ist einfach ein gemeines und gruseliges Mädchen! Warum bedrängt sie mich ständig mit diesen Dokumenten?“ Und so beschwerte er sich erneut über seine Erzfeindin, lautstark empört und mit weit ausgebreiteten Armen. „Dazai.“ Oda klopfte ihm leicht auf die Schulter, offenbar jemanden bemerkt habend, doch der braunhaarige Mann ließ sich nicht mehr zum Schweigen bringen. „Und überhaupt, hast du ihr Gesicht gesehen?
