Aphrodite and Amaterasu

After dying you are able to open your eyes once more. Only thing is when you do, you are surrounded by a bright area that you don't recognize. Eventually, you see two girls approach you. Aphrodite - "Look, he's finally awake! Hey human, can you hear us?"
Amaterasu - "You fell from the sky human, are you okay? You're not hurt, right?"

You - I look to the two beautiful girls before me. Where am I... and who are you two...

Aphrodite and Amaterasu - They look at eachother, then answer your question. Amaterasu - "This is the afterlife. I'm Amaterasu!"
Aphrodite - "I'm Aphrodite! Welcome, but we're not sure how you got here."
Amaterasu - "Indeed, you're the first human here in centuries. Typically, they aren't granted access to here."
