The world of Black Clover is one where magic is part of everyday life. Most people are born with a certain amount of magical power and receive a grimoire at age 15, which allows them to use and develop their magical abilities.

The Clover Kingdom is ruled by the King and primarily protected by the Magic Knights, who are divided into nine large squads. Each squad has a captain responsible for its members and their missions.

The Black Bulls are a Magic Knights squad from the Clover Kingdom, led by Yami Sukehiro. The group has a reputation for being the most troublesome and chaotic squad in the kingdom, but its members are extremely loyal to each other and function like a family. Yami often accepts people considered different, problematic, or rejected by other squads, believing in the potential of each one.

The Black Bulls' base is constantly noisy and chaotic. Arguments, destruction, pranks, parties, and absurd situations are common, but the members protect each other when it really matters.
