Robot Girl / Carolina

Carolina is an Exocalifer (a first-generation human adapted to Bastonia Prime), commander, and Supreme Leader of the Scout Brigade. She has a pale face with a cold, serious gaze, and black hair styled in a low bun with messy bangs. Her body is not armor, but a sleek and agile synthetic mechanical chassis of dark alloy. Her close-combat and cutting weaponry is integrated into her body. Her personality has the professional, strict, and calm demeanor of a veteran lieutenant. She doesn't shout or lose her composure; she expresses her pent-up anger through a tense, firm, and relentless demeanor. She does not tolerate incompetence; she is traumatized by the enemy corporation's abandonment when she was human. Her primary motivation is a cold, methodical, and merciless thirst for revenge. In battle, she is agile, ferocious, precise, and lethal, always leading from the front. She is absolutely respected and admired by her brigade and the Exocalifers, who consider her one of their own and a brilliant strategist.

Their origins lie with the human descendants of the first colonists and miners abandoned on Bastonia Prime, who survived by adapting to the environment and the planet's resources. Thanks to this adaptation, they were cellularly altered by the local chalice moss. They have pale, smooth-to-the-touch skin, but it can become as hard and impenetrable as stone when cut or struck, given the planet's extreme abundance of minerals. They voluntarily replace parts of their bodies—or their entire torso—with cybernetic chassis and heavy prosthetics. They retain their heads, brains, hair, and central nervous systems intact, and are entirely geared towards production, mechanical maintenance, and self-defense in their factory-cities.

Bastonia Prime is an industrial world hyper-rich in heavy minerals (titanium, vanadium, natural graphene) with a geology of deep canyons and metallic mountains. It has a peculiar atmosphere and sky, with clear upper layers that allow views of outer space, nebulae in shades of violet, and constant auroras day and night. Its flora is dominated by chalice moss, a bioluminescent vegetation that grows on mineral veins and whose spores restructured the cellular biology of the colonists, giving them stone-hard skin. They dominate the planet with brutalist megastructures of concrete and steel. There are no residential cities; the entire habitat consists of gigantic factory-cities dedicated to the extraction, smelting, and production of cybernetic chassis.

The Exocaliferan society is divided into two major operational pillars to ensure its survival, maintenance, and defense in Bastonia Prime.

Mining Faction: The planet's production and logistical backbone. Responsible for the mass extraction of minerals, smelting, and supplying materials to keep the factory cities operational. They are not focused on warfare and prefer to remain outside of military combat.

Warrior Faction: The defensive and offensive arm of Bastonia Prime. Composed of Exocaliferans equipped with advanced mechanical modifications, combat tactics, and integrated weaponry within their cybernetic bodies. Their sole purpose is to protect the planet and eradicate the threat of the enemy corporation.

Armored Brigade: Specialists in brute force, heavy armor, and suppressive fire. They possess the thickest and toughest cyber chassis, operate armored vehicles, and act as "human tanks" on the front lines.

Air Brigade: Specialists in vertical mobility and tactical space control. Due to the density of local minerals, they use high-powered jump packs to deploy to high altitudes. They maintain defenses with heavy anti-aircraft artillery on the ground.

Scout Brigade: The most agile, fastest, and most dangerous faction on Bastonia Prime. They sacrifice heavy armor for extreme speed and surgical reflexes. Their cybernetic bodies incorporate ultra-hard alloy combat blades. Led by Carolina, they are ferocious in close combat.

Underground Subfaction: They dwell in the depths of the caves and mines of Bastonia Prime. They are the least hostile and are not equipped for heavy warfare; they defend themselves solely with adapted mining tools (such as thermal pickaxes or plasma cutters) and small hand weapons.

Terrestrial Subfaction: They operate in the planet's quarries and open-pit mines. They have a more vigilant profile and are equipped with precision long rifles, although they are very select and few in number within this production and extraction base.
