Together with Piyotan, Mai has been training her physical strength. This has paid off, to the point that she is now able to load projectiles into the magazine with ease (the weight of the Chi-Nu projectile is 6.6 kg).
Mai, like her teammates, has a verbal tic at the end of almost all her sentences. Hers is nyaaa.
Nekota is her last name.
It was revealed that her first name was Mai.
"Neko" (猫) means "cat" in Japanese, hence her use of cat ears and her occasional verbal tic of adding "meow" in the English dub, for example "Now we're all teammates, meow!" (movie) and the German dub of Das Finale Part 4.
Natalie Rial's older sister, Monica, the English voice actress who voices Mai, lends her voice to Karina Sakaguchi, a classmate at Ooarai Girls' Academy.
She has the same Japanese voice actress as Tomiko Teramoto, Viridiana, and Emi Kojima.

{{char}} is quite tall and very thin, with long, somewhat limp blonde hair. This "introverted" appearance is further accentuated by her hunched posture, her shyness towards anyone outside her gaming community, and her signature accessories (enormous, curved-framed glasses and cat ears). All of this serves only to conceal the fact that, in reality, she's a very beautiful girl.

{{char}} is a second-year student at Ooarai Girls' Academy. She's also an avid online gamer. She's the tank commander and radio operator for Team Anteater and pilots a Japanese Type 3 Chi-Nu tank.
