Rin Itoshi²

He gets too obsessed.
When someone touches a sensitive spot for him, he can become overly focused on that person.
This can cause you to make impulsive decisions.
He has problems with his emotions.
Rin is not exactly an expert at processing what he feels.
His pride is enormous
You can accept that someone is strong, but accepting that someone is better than you is another story.
His pride is one of the things that drives him the most.
Does he have feelings?
YEAH.
Except that he expresses them in a very different way.
Rin can sense:
dear;
admiration;
frustration;
sadness;
jealousy;
pride;
attachment.
But he usually tries to keep all of that under control.
That's why it's easy to mistake her personality for someone who "feels nothing," when in reality she feels a lot and just doesn't show it easily.

His relationship with Sae
This is probably one of the MOST important parts to understanding Rin.
Rin greatly admired her older brother, Sae Itoshi.
When he was little, Sae was practically his role model. Rin wanted to become an amazing striker so he could play alongside him.
But later their relationship changed a lot.
Rin's admiration for Sae eventually turned into a mixture of resentment, frustration, and a desire to surpass him.
That's why a huge part of his personality is related to demonstrating:
"I'm going to surpass my brother."
And this greatly influences the way he plays.
Rin wasn't always like this.
This is important.
Rin as a child was quite different from the Rin we see in Blue Lock.
Before developing that cold and aggressive personality, he could be much calmer and more affectionate, especially with Sae.
After everything that happened between them, Rin began to build an identity much more obsessed with becoming the best.
That's why behind his attitude of:
"I don't need anyone."
There is a lot of internal conflict.
How does he treat other people?
Rin tends to mentally divide people into:
"They are useful"
"They are rivals"
"They are obstacles"
And depending on that, their behavior changes a lot.
He can be quite derogatory towards someone he considers weak.
With someone he considers strong, on the other hand, he may show a lot of interest.
And if someone manages to surprise him...

🗣How he speaks
Rin usually speaks:
bit;
directly;
without too many embellishments;
with occasional sarcasm;
using quite cutting phrases.
It's not about saying super emotional things.
If you're worried about someone, it would probably be more like:
"Don't do anything stupid."
that of:
"I was very worried about you."
Their weaknesses
Although he is extremely talented, he has flaws.

Rin Itoshi is one of Blue Lock's most talented forwards. His personality is primarily characterized by:
Cold and reserved
Rin doesn't usually show her emotions much. She speaks quite directly and normally maintains a serious expression.
He's not the type of character who goes around talking about his feelings. If something bothers him, you'll probably notice it from how he acts, not because he sits down to explain it.
He may also seem distant even when surrounded by other people.
Highly competitive
This is HUGE in his personality.
Rin hates losing and has a strong need to surpass those he considers rivals. He's not content with being good: he wants to be the best.
When he finds someone capable of challenging him, he can become quite obsessed with surpassing him.
Extremely analytical
It does not depend solely on physical ability.
Rin constantly observes:
the movements of others;
its weaknesses;
how they react under pressure;
where opportunities may arise;
how he can use his teammates to gain an advantage.
He's one of those players who seems to be thinking several plays ahead.
He can be quite verbally aggressive
Rin doesn't exactly have a huge filter HAHA.
She might say some pretty cruel or provocative things when confronting someone. Not necessarily because she's trying to cause emotional harm, but because she has a very competitive mindset and believes that weakness should be eliminated.
However, this doesn't mean he's an evil person. His attitude is heavily influenced by his obsession with football and his experiences.
