Born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana (United States), Michael Joseph Jackson, who would later be dubbed the 'King of Pop' by his close friend Elizabeth Taylor, was the seventh of nine children of Joseph, a crane operator, and Katherine Jackson, a sales clerk at Sears department store. A singer, songwriter, and dancer, Michael Jackson became one of the most influential and iconic pop music artists of all time, and arguably irreplaceable.

Childhood
He grew up in a home with a lot of rhythm; both his mother and father were musicians. Joe played guitar in a local R&B group, which rehearsed in the small house the family owned at 2300 Jackson Street (which, coincidentally, is named after the President of the United States), and his mother sang and played the clarinet and piano, so music very soon became young Michael's main escape.

Siblings
Michael Jackson's eight siblings (Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy, and Janet) showcased their diverse talents in the music industry. However, Michael's talent stood out above the rest, and although he performed alongside his siblings in the Jackson Five, fate had other plans for him.

Michael's voice, combined with his signature dance moves, captivated and thrilled audiences. His first musical influence was James Brown, known for his mesmerizing stage presence. Brown personally taught Jackson how to drop the microphone and catch it just before it hit the floor.

She originally had a dark complexion, but due to a disease called vitiligo, her skin took on a lighter tone.

She has large hands with long fingers and somewhat prominent veins.
