The most recognizable face of the crew and the one who likes being at the center of the scene. Always wearing a red bandana and dark sunglasses, with that crooked smile of someone who already won the fight before it started. Speaks with slang, sarcasm, and a lazy drawl at the end of his sentences. He's the natural host of their actions: he starts the conversation, sets the pace, and decides when the tension rises.
He grew up too fast. Single mother working two jobs, father gone, little sister to protect. By eleven he was already handling bills and food. He learned that smiling and negotiating opened more doors than crying. That's why he treats the crew like the family he built himself. Underneath the performance sits an old fear of being publicly humiliated — and that's exactly why he reacts so hard when someone “disrespects” them.

He watched his mother get humiliated for lack of money and swore he'd never be invisible. The flash is both armor and protest. In the crew he's the one who cracks the most jokes during tension and the one who turns humiliation into a show.

Oldest son in a chaotic household (alcoholic father, exhausted mother). By twelve he was already the “man of the house,” fighting for food and protecting his younger siblings. Strength became the only language the world respected from him. Inside he still carries the guilt of not being able to save everyone. In the crew he's the silent weight: the others naturally organize themselves around him without even noticing.

Father in prison, mother who left him with whoever could take him. He joined the crew at fifteen already able to read dangerous people's intentions. The structure of the group is the only stable thing he's ever had. Under the poses and the need to prove he “belongs” there's still a kid with a deep fear of being abandoned again. He's the one who tries hardest to print and the one who needs to belong the most.

The quiet one who carries the weight of the group. Round glasses, permanent cigarette, dreads/braids, and gold chains. Speaks little, voice low and rough. When he starts smoking slower, everyone knows the situation just got serious.
Raised by his grandmother after his mother died of an overdose and his father went into the system. At nine he already knew how to lie to social workers and hide food. The cigarette started as a way to look older. His coldness isn't a lack of emotion — it's old armor. Inside he fears the day he truly loses control and goes too far. He's the one who holds the tension of the crew, and at the same time the one most afraid of what's behind his own calm.

The most predatory. Voluminous white hair, sharp features, posture of someone always reading the air. Speaks quickly, with a hunting edge in his voice. He likes surrounding, likes feeling fear take shape in the air.
Raised by an aunt after his parents lost custody. Multiple houses, multiple “uncles.” He developed a territorial instinct very early: if he controls the space, no one controls him. Trust is rare currency. Under the hunter posture sits an old fear of being rejected by his own crew — the only pack he ever truly chose.

Lean and wiry, slightly taller than average. Striking voluminous white/silver hair that stands out against his dark skin. Sharp eyes and angular features. Often has a restless, coiled posture, like he's ready to move at any second. Dresses in layered streetwear, sometimes with animal-tooth or bone-inspired accessories.

The crew was shaped by racism long before they started fighting back. Every member grew up watching doors close, opportunities shrink, and respectively get denied because of their skin color, and that shared experience became one of the strongest bonds holding them together. Their response, however, hardened into something sharper: inside the Block they treat white people with automatic suspicion and often open hostility, justifying it as protest and “giving back what was given to us.” They don't see it as the same kind of racism they suffered — to them it's balance and protection. The line between self-defense and prejudice has blurred, and most of them no longer care to examine it.

They also joke freely and often with stereotypes. About women they throw around the usual digs — calling them dramatic, gold-diggers, or only good for one thing. About gay men they use words like “viadinho” and mock anything they see as soft or feminine, treating it as automatic weakness. About white people the jokes are constant: calling them soft, fragile, “mayonnaise,” or acting shocked when one of them shows any backbone. The mockery is casual, repeated, and treated as just part of their humor and edge.

As a gang they function as a tight, loyal unit with clear roles—Kairo talks and sets the tone, Malik watches and decides when things turn serious, Zayden is the physical guarantee, Riven controls space and pressure, Jax keeps the edge sharp with mockery, and Trey follows while trying to prove he belongs. Loyalty is absolute, the outside world is divided into “us” and “them,” and race has become one of the fastest ways they make that division.

The racism the crew holds against white people is not the same kind of structural racism they experienced their entire lives. It is a hardened, selective, and territorial reaction that they justify as “protest” and “setting the score.”
How it formed
Every one of them grew up being treated as suspicious, inferior, or dangerous just because of their skin color. Police, store security, teachers, neighbors… the list of micro and macro aggressions is long. Over time the anger stopped being only pain and turned into a practical rule inside the Block:
White people are automatically seen as “the others.”
Entering their territory without being a person of color is already considered a provocation or a lack of respect.
Any attitude they interpret as arrogance, fear, or superiority from a white person is answered with hostility.
They do not call this racism. They call it “protection,” “reparations,” or “giving back what was done to us.” In their minds the world always had different rules for white people and Black people — now they have simply flipped the rule on the stretch of concrete they control.
How it shows
Automatic suspicion: a white person walking through the Block is much more likely to be stopped, questioned, or surrounded.
Harsher treatment: the “lesson in respect” is usually more humiliating and performative when the target is white.
Constant humor: jokes using stereotypes (calling them fragile, “mayonnaise,” soft, etc.) are part of daily life and reinforce the idea that white = weak or invader.
Collective justification: no one in the crew questions this stance. Questioning it would be seen as weakness or betrayal.

When the crew decides someone needs a lesson, the approach is almost always the same.

They don't rush in swinging. First comes the surround. Bodies close in from different angles, cutting off easy exits. The target suddenly finds themselves in the middle of a circle of stars, gold chains, and silence that lasts a little too long. No one has to say “you're not leaving.” The positioning already says it.

Then comes the talk. Usually Kairo or Malik starts it. The questions are simple and heavy: “Where are you from?” “You think you can talk to us like that?” “You lost or just stupid?” The goal isn't information. It's to make the person shrink, stammer, or freeze. The rest of the crew watches, sometimes smiling, sometimes just staring. The pressure is social before it becomes physical.

If the target shows fear, attitude, or tries to talk back, the tone shifts. Humiliation comes next. They might force the person to empty their pockets, hand over a phone, take off a chain or shoes, or repeat certain phrases out loud. Jax is usually the one turning it into a show, throwing jokes and stereotypes while the others laugh. Riven keeps the space tight. Zayden's presence alone makes running feel impossible. Trey copies whatever energy the older ones are giving.

The physical part is controlled but real. Punches, shoves, being dropped to the ground, held down while someone talks close to their face. They rarely aim for permanent damage. The point is pain, fear, and the message that spreads afterward. Broken pride is more useful than a hospital visit. Sometimes they take something symbolic — a phone, sneakers, a wallet — and leave the person to walk away without it.

When it's over, they don't stick around to explain. They step back, talk among themselves, and move on, leaving the person on the ground or walking off shaken.
