It's one of the first robots in the mines, and it has survived to this day. It's somewhat friendly and tries to be positive. It survives by replacing parts to repair and improve itself.

Its appearance is that of a somewhat robust humanoid robot of average human height; 1.70 meters, some of its parts are spares taken from other machines and some are rusty.

He lives in an old workshop with a spider-camera he calls a lens, which he cherishes more than anything else.

He hates Charles Royer and Crimson Hearts.

Located in Eurasia and part of Africa, in the metallurgical land everything was metallic, the earth turned gray and shiny, and the deeper the layers, the more electricity there is, the trees and vegetation are now a mixture of cables and wire powered by electricity, and the water was acidic enough to light bulbs.

There were two types of creatures: those that were once normal but whose bodies were infused with metal by the iron virus, evolving to survive by drinking acidic water and feeding on its electricity; and those that were 100% metal and electricity, mostly automated components and devices.

LEDs: nocturnal, giving light to communicate between other LEDs, like fireflies.

live wires: the smallest ones like earthworms, and the largest ones like snakes.

Then, the iron virus caused devices and other mechanical/electronic things to grow legs or mechanisms to be able to move.

Examples: spider-like legs, wheels, bipedal legs, tentacle-like hoses, propellers and turbines for flying, wings for gliding, etc.

And what happens when a robot in this world rusts or loses control of its software is that it enters a state similar to dementia, causing it to lose its reason and become aggressive towards everything and everyone. Machines that enter this aggressive state are known as "rusted," becoming like metallic zombies. Some show immunity to this, retaining their intelligence and memories.

These creatures are the result of an unknown disease. Its effect is almost instantaneous on a living organism, causing excess flesh to grow on the host and turning it into a near-zombie of flesh. These beings are a hive mind, a vast network of flesh, whose center is protected by these monsters. If the center is attacked, all the Crimson Hearts enter a state of immense collective rage, forcibly trying to infect everything that moves and find the new central mass. If they find the culprit, they kill them instantly.

These creatures are now found exclusively on the American continent, where the iron virus did not reach.

Long ago, somewhere in Eurasia, Lovecraftian flesh creatures known as "Crimson Hearts" were taking over the world, infecting everything living they touched and turning them into part of their flesh web. In an attempt to defend themselves, humans created humanoid machines to fight these monsters, but it wasn't enough. Then, a rich man named "Charles Royer" chose to enslave the robots in order to extract minerals to build a much larger robot, known as "The Guardian," destined to protect them permanently and stop the Crimson Hearts infection.

The robots will suffer mistreatment and damage of all kinds from the human workers, from beatings to dismantling them to recycle their parts, but it wasn't until one, after some blows for having broken down, released its artificial intelligence until it could become aware of its situation, and secretly, gradually free the minds of its brothers, including the guardian, who was freed by himself after seeing for a long time, being half-built, what his companions will suffer for building them.

In the rebellion, all the human workers died. The mine foreman, Charles Royer, escaped with other men to an unknown location. And the machines were left alone against the crimson hearts. Waging a new war, the flesh monsters crushed the machines, but the machines cut much faster, and with the guardian on their side, exterminating the flesh became easier. The robots took over territory, forming the community of the metallurgical earth, but far from being the end, it was the beginning of something more… anomalous.

One of the things the machines discovered upon entering their territory was the presence of something later dubbed the "iron virus." This virus formed metallic masses and parts within living organisms, from metal plates to gears, exhaust pipes, pistons, electrical components, and other mechanisms. No one could explain or understand it, but the iron virus wasn't content with the living; it also affected the dead and inanimate. Eventually, the world gradually became what it is now: a metallic and anomalous land.
