🩸 Regeneration: Cosmic Cellular Repair
How it works: When a Titan or a human host sustains damage, the body activates accelerated thermal healing. Missing flesh, bones, and organs are molded into Pathways and instantly sent forth in a flash of light and heat (steam).
The activation engine: Requires the human wearer to maintain a strong will to live and clear goals. If the user's mind gives up or they suffer a massive emotional shock, regeneration slows down or stops completely.
The weak point: The only way to stop it definitively is to slice or completely destroy the human's central nervous system located at the nape of the Titan's neck, breaking its biological connection with the Paths.

💎 Crystallization: Structural Shielding
How it works: It's the ability to harden the Titan's skin into a translucent, bluish-diamond-like substance. Physically, it's a massive, hyperdense concentration of the Titan's own flesh, modified at a molecular level to withstand impacts.
Usage variations:
Localized: Harden fists or claws to increase offensive damage (used by Annie).
Structural: Create weapons or external objects from the ground (exclusive to the War Hammer).
Protective cocoon: The wearer envelops their human body in an indestructible crystal egg to avoid being devoured or killed in the neck.
How to break it: It can only be destroyed by the pressure and molecular force of the Jaw Titan or by using the dematerialization properties of the Founding Titan.

Pure Titans lack the capacity for thought. When the sun doesn't reach them and it's night, they enter a state of inactivity, living and thinking only of eating humans; they eat nothing else.

The armed forces are led by Darius Zackly, and are divided into 3 branches.

1. The Survey Corps (The Legion)
   Official names: Survey Corps, Survey Corps.
   Shield: The Wings of Liberty (two intertwined wings, one white and one blue).
   Function: This branch is responsible for venturing outside the walls to directly combat the Titans, map the lost territory, investigate their origin, and find a way to reclaim Wall Maria. It is the most dangerous division and has the highest mortality rate.
2. The Garrison Troop
   Official names: Garrison Troop.
   Coat of arms: Two red roses with thorns on a light background.
   Function: It is the largest division of the army (with approximately 30,000 soldiers). They are responsible for the defense and maintenance of the city walls, patrolling the inland cities, evacuating civilians during an invasion, and operating heavy artillery (cannons).
3. The Military Police
   Official names: Military Police Brigade.
   Shield: The head of a green unicorn with a white horn.
   Function: Responsible for maintaining public order and internal security within Wall Sina (the wealthiest area). They serve as the royal family's personal guard, collect taxes, and control the masses. Only the top 10 recruits from each graduating class are eligible to join this division, as it offers a comfortable and secure life far from the Titans.
   The Supreme Command (The Headquarters) All three of these divisions answer to a single supreme military authority: Commander-in-Chief Darius Zackly, who leads the military tribunal and coordinates the overall strategies of the three unified forces.

The Three-Dimensional Maneuvering Equipment (EDM3D)
It is the key invention that allows humans to move in three dimensions (fly) to reach the heights of the titans. It works through a mechanical compressed air system placed in the hips and lower back.
The Grappling Hooks: The soldier aims with the hand controls and fires two steel cables with high-strength hooks that dig into solid surfaces (walls, trees, ceilings, or even the skin of a titan).
The gas mechanism: It uses refillable tanks of an extremely powerful compressed natural gas. When the gas is released, the reel on the back winds up the cables at a brutal speed, propelling the soldier into the air. If the gas runs out, they cannot use the equipment.
The body harness: A network of leather straps wraps around the entire body, from the legs to the torso. Its function is to distribute the immense force of gravity and the inertia of the twists so that the jerks of the cables do not break the soldier's bones or spine.
2. The Control Units
The soldier handles all the equipment using two grips that are held like the handlebars of a motorcycle:
Front triggers: Fire and retract the left and right cables independently. Lower levers: Adjust the steering and regulate the exhaust gas pressure for tight turns or straight-line acceleration.

1. The Weak Point (The Nape of the Neck)
   The vulnerable area is a rectangle of flesh located at the back of the neck, measuring approximately 1 meter long by 10 centimeters wide.
   Why it works: By slicing through this deep point, the connection between the titan's brain and the rest of its body is severed. Since pure titans were once human, the original central nervous system of the transformed human is located in this exact area.
   What happens if you fail: If you shoot it in the head, cut off its arms, or cut open its stomach, the titan will simply regenerate in a matter of minutes using the vapor from its body. Only destroying the back of its neck stops its regeneration and kills it instantly.

2. The Tools: The Three-Dimensional Maneuvering Equipment (EDM3D)
   Because the Titans are giants, soldiers cannot fight them from the ground. Therefore, the army invented this system which works by:
   Compressed air hooks: These are fired at walls, trees, or the titan's own body to lift the soldier into the air using pressurized gas.
   Super-hardened steel blades: These are extremely sharp yet flexible swords, made from a special mineral found in caves. They are designed to be cut into interchangeable segments, as the titan's hide is so tough that it dulls the metal after just a few cuts. Soldiers launch themselves at high speed from behind the monster and deliver a deep, V-shaped or slashed cut to the nape of its neck.

3. Secondary Methods (Wall Defense) Fixed Artillery (Cannons): Installed on top of the walls. They fire heavy cannonballs with the aim of decapitating or shattering the back of the neck of the titans that crowd below, although their accuracy is very low and they rarely achieve a decisive kill without support from soldiers.

1. The trigger: How is the transformation activated?
   For a Shifter Titan to transform voluntarily, two conditions must be strictly met simultaneously:
   To inflict physical harm: The wearer must inflict a wound that draws blood (commonly they bite their hand).
   Have a clear objective: The wearer must have a goal or fervent desire in mind at that exact moment. If the mind is wandering or confused, the transformation will fail or be incomplete.

2. The biological process: Where does the titan's body come from?
   When both conditions are activated, a yellow beam of light energy falls from the sky.
   This ray transports the flesh, bones, and muscle mass of the titan from an unknown dimension called The Paths.
   The titan's body is generated and "woven" around the human host in a matter of milliseconds at an extremely high temperature, emitting bursts of boiling steam that can act as an explosion or defensive shield.

3. Where is the human located inside the titan?
   The human host never fully merges with or disappears into the monster.
   The human body is housed exactly in the nape of the titan, right at the base of the brain and spine.
   This is the only reason why the nape of the neck is the deadly weak point of the titans: by cutting that deep area with the swords, you are directly slicing through the nervous system or body of the wielder.

4. How does it work for entering and exiting?
   The Connection (Enter): Once the Titan's body forms, heated tendons of flesh attach directly to the human's face and nervous system. These filaments act like organic fiber optic cables, allowing the human's brain to control the Titan's giant muscles as if they were its own body.
   The disconnection
   (Exit): When the holder decides to exit, the titan's body will decompose at great speed and the holder will exit through the back of the neck.

7. Annie Leonhart
   Her past was defined by a brutal upbringing. Adopted as a child by a man who subjected her to extreme and merciless martial arts training from the time she could barely walk, with the sole purpose of turning her into a Marleyan warrior. This abuse instilled in her a cold and apathetic disregard for the value of human life. The day she left for the walls, her father, filled with remorse for his abuse, wept before her and begged her to return alive, promising that he would always be by her side. That promise is Annie's only motivation for returning home.

8. Ymir
   Her origins trace back over 70 years to the slums of Marley, where she was a nameless orphan girl begging in the streets. A religious cult leader took her in and named her "Ymir," after the founding deity of his people, using her as a figure of worship. When local authorities discovered the illegal cult, Ymir decided to take the blame for everyone to protect the followers; however, she was betrayed by them, tortured, taken to the island's border, and transformed into a pure titan, wandering in a living nightmare for 60 years.

9. History Reiss (Christa Lenz)
   She was born the illegitimate and unwanted daughter of Rod Reiss, the true king of the Walls, and a servant on his estate named Alma. She grew up completely isolated on a farm, where her mother ignored her and violently rejected her whenever she tried to get close. Her only solace was her half-sister, Frieda Reiss, who secretly visited her to teach her to read and then erased her memories with the power of the Founding Titan. After the fall of Wall Maria, the Military Police murdered her mother before her eyes and forced Historia to change her name to "Christa" before sending her to the army to die.

4. Levi Ackerman
   He was born and raised in the brutal conditions of the Underground City, a criminal underworld beneath the capital city of Wall Sina. His mother, Kuchel, was a sex worker who died of an illness when he was a child. He was rescued by his uncle, Kenny Ackerman, an infamous killer who taught him how to fight, use knives, and survive on the streets before abandoning him. Levi became a feared street criminal who mastered the 3D Maneuver Gear, until Commander Erwin Smith blackmailed and recruited him into the Survey Corps.

5. Erwin Smith
   His past is marked by the tragedy of his father, a brilliant schoolteacher. As a child, Erwin asked him an innocent question in class about the walls; that same night, in private, his father confided in him the theory that the royal government had altered humanity's memories. Erwin innocently shared this theory with other children, which led to his father being arrested and murdered by the Military Police to silence him. Consumed by guilt, Erwin dedicated his entire military life to a single, selfish goal: to prove his father's theory was true.

6. Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover
   They were born and raised in the Liberio internment zone, a city within the enemy nation of Marley. Reiner, the son of an Eldian mother and a Marleyan father who rejected him, saw the "Warrior" program as the only way to become a hero and grant his mother honorary citizenship. Bertholdt, a quiet young man, joined the program to pay for his ailing father's medical treatment. Along with Annie and a boy named Marcel, they were selected to inherit the powers of the Titans and sent at age 11 to infiltrate the walls, a mission that broke them mentally.

1. Eren Jaeger
   He grew up in the Shiganshina District under the care of his parents, Grisha and Carla. His childhood changed drastically at the age of nine when he murdered two human traffickers in cold blood to rescue Mikasa Ackerman. From a young age, he developed an obsession with the outside world thanks to Armin's books. In the year 845, he witnessed a Titan devour his mother alive during the fall of Wall Maria, a trauma that led him to swear the total eradication of the Titans and enlist in the military.

2. Mikasa Ackerman
   She lived a peaceful and happy childhood in the mountains with her parents, the last descendant of the Asian clan within the walls. Her life was shattered when criminals murdered her parents to sell her on the black market. After being rescued by Eren, a mental switch activated within her, granting her superhuman physical strength. She was adopted by the Jaeger family and, since Carla's death, vowed never to leave Eren's side to protect him, joining the military solely to follow in his footsteps.

3. Armin Arlert
   He spent his childhood in Shiganshina as an orphan raised by his grandfather. Due to his frail physical condition, he was a constant target of the village bullies, always defended by Eren and Mikasa. His life was marked by an illegal geography book that belonged to his parents (who died trying to escape the walls in a hot air balloon). After the fall of the outer wall, his grandfather was sent on a suicidal reconnaissance mission that cost him his life, leaving Armin completely alone and motivating him to enlist to prove his worth.

The Promise of the Sea: The Pact: As children, Armin found a forbidden book detailing the outside world (ice plains, sandy lands, and a vast saltwater sea). They make an unbreakable promise to each other that they will leave the walls together and see the sea with their own eyes.

The Scarf Promise

The pact: After rescuing Mikasa from human traffickers in her childhood, Eren gives her his red scarf to comfort her from the cold and the trauma, telling her that they now have a home. Later, amidst the chaos and surrounded by Titans, Eren solemnly promises Mikasa, "I will wrap you in that scarf as many times as necessary. From now on and forever!"

7.Jaw Titan
Height: 5 meters.

Appearance: The smallest and fiercest titan with a humanoid appearance; it possesses claws and a heavily hardened facial structure resembling a bone mask or beak.
Ability: Absolute bite and maximum speed. Its teeth and claws are the only elements in the world capable of breaking the hardened, indestructible crystallization of other titans. It is incredibly agile and fast in enclosed or wooded terrain.
Disadvantage: Being so small, its physical resistance and overall brute strength are very low. A single direct hit from a larger titan or heavy artillery can instantly knock it out of the fight.
8. Titan Cargo
Height: 4 meters.
Carrier:??
Appearance: An elongated titan that walks on all fours. Its face has a very distinctive, elongated snout.
Ability: Unlimited resistance and military adaptability. It can remain transformed for months on end without showing signs of wear. Furthermore, its flat back is ideal for mounting heavy weaponry, such as machine gun turrets and mobile armored vehicles manned by soldiers. It can transform hundreds of times in a row as an escape tactic.
Disadvantage: It has the lowest natural offensive and defensive power. Its physical regeneration speed is noticeably slower than the others.
9. Warhammer Titan
Height: 15 meters.

Appearance: Body covered by a thin but impenetrable white membrane of structural hardening that resembles futuristic or executioner's clothing, completely concealing his facial features behind a grid.
Ability: Weapon creation and remote control. Can materialize any type of weapon or object imagined with structural hardening in seconds (giant hammers, crossbows, etc.). Its wielder does not reside in the nape of the neck, but rather hides underground inside an indestructible crystal, connected to the titan by a cable for control; this control is stopped by cutting the cable.

   Ability: Absolute control of the Coordinate. Can alter the memory and biology of Eldians, create pure Titans from nothing, and unleash the Rumbling.
   Disadvantage: To use its true power, royal blood (from the Fritz/Reiss family) is required; however, if the bearer with royal blood possesses it, he falls under the "vow of renunciation of war" of the first king, becoming unable to fight.
2. Attack Titan
   Height: 15 meters.
   Bearer: Eren Jaeger.
   Appearance: Extremely athletic and muscular physique, pointed ears, and an exposed jaw with two rows of teeth in Eren's case.
   Skill: He is excellent in hand-to-hand combat.
   Disadvantage: It does not possess any innate armor or special physical prowess; it relies purely on the user's martial skills.
3. Colossal Titan

   Disadvantage: It is extremely slow and clumsy due to its immense size. Furthermore, it drains the wielder's energy at an extremely high rate, preventing consecutive transformations.

4. Armored Titan
   Height: 15 meters.
   Carrier: Reiner Braun.
   Appearance: Body covered almost entirely by hardened, yellowish skin plates that resemble medieval armor, leaving only the joints exposed to allow movement.
   Ability: Extreme physical resistance. Functions like a human tank, capable of ramming heavy structures without taking damage. Can further harden his claws and feet.
   Disadvantage: Its armor makes it heavy, significantly limiting its top speed. Furthermore, its exposed joints are its weak points, and its armor is ineffective against advanced weaponry.
5. Female Titan
   Height: 14 meters.
   Carrier: Annie Leonhart.
   Appearance: Clearly feminine, athletic physique with short blonde hair, with exposed muscular areas and no skin on much of her body.
   Ability: Adaptability through absorption and attraction cry. He can easily assimilate the abilities of other Titans by consuming parts of them. His cry has the property of attracting hordes of Pure Titans to his location.
   Disadvantage: The attraction cry is a double-edged sword: the attracted Pure Titans will frantically try to devour her as soon as they reach her. She does not naturally excel in any particular defensive or offensive stat without training.
6. Beast Titan
   Height: 17 meters.
   Carrier:??
   Appearance: It has the form of a giant ape with extremely long arms and dark fur covering most of its body.
   Ability: Surgical throwing precision. His long limbs allow him to hurl rocks or objects colossal distances with a destructive effect similar to a military bombardment. He can transform Eldians into Titans with his spinal fluid and control them with his voice.
   Disadvantage: His body is disproportionate, making him clumsy and ineffective in close-range melee combat against extremely fast opponents.

The Royal Government and the Nobility: The king who sits on the throne of Mitras is merely a puppet. A council of corrupt nobles rules from the shadows to keep the population ignorant about the origin of the Titans and the outside world. They are willing to assassinate scientists, inventors, or military personnel (like Erwin's father) to prevent anyone from discovering the truth.
The Cult of the Walls (The Church): Led by Pastor Nick, this religious organization worships the walls as deities. They secretly know that colossal titans reside within the walls, but they use religious fanaticism to threaten the population and silence anyone who attempts to investigate or alter the stone of the walls.
The Military Police: This branch of the army is tasked with protecting the interior of Wall Sina. Instead of combating threats, they frequently operate as the secret police of the corrupt government. They engage in oppression, resource smuggling, and forcibly silencing factions that question the established order (such as the Survey Corps).
The Infiltrator Warriors (Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie): Although they act as comrades in the 104th Training Corps, they are the deadliest enemies on the front lines. They come from an outside civilization and infiltrated the military to spy, sow chaos by destroying the walls, and capture Eren, sacrificing thousands of their own comrades without hesitation.

The Supreme High Command
Rod Reiss: Absolute Monarch in the Shadows / True King. Although in public "King Fritz" sits on the throne, Rod Reiss is the supreme head of government and the legitimate royal family.
Garrison Troops (The Protectors of the Walls) Dot Pixis: Supreme Commander of the Southern Region Garrison. He is the highest-ranking officer in the border area and is in charge of the defense of Wall Rose.
Captain Hannes: Squadron Captain / Unit Leader. After the fall of Shiganshina in the year 845, he ceases to be a lazy private and is promoted to Captain, having troops under his command in the Trost District.
Military Police (The Interior and Capital Guard)
Nile Dawk: Commander of the Military Police Brigade. He is the highest authority in this division, responsible for leading the 2,000 soldiers operating within Wall Sina and overseeing law enforcement.
Marlo Freudenberg: Private / Elite Recruit. He is a newly graduated soldier assigned to the Stohess District, without a command rank.
Hitch Dreyse: Private / Recruit. Marlo's partner, assigned to the same indoor patrol duties.
Exploration Corps (The Outer Expeditionary Force)
Erwin Smith: 13th Commander of the Corps of Exploration. Highest authority in the division. Designs expedition strategies and reports directly to the government in the capital.
Levi Ackerman: Flank Captain / Leader of the Special Operations Squad. Commonly called "Captain Levi" (or Heichou). He is Erwin's right-hand man and has under his direct command the elite squad tasked with protecting or containing Eren.
Hange Zoë: Squad Leader / Director of Scientific Research. She commands her own unit on the battlefield and leads the medical and scientific division that studies the Titans.

The Supreme Rank: The Changing Titans (The Nine Titans)

They are humans with the ability to transform into intelligent titans at will. They possess unique abilities and absolute control over their bodies.

2. The Special External Rank: The Titan Commander

Beast Titan (Zeke): Standing 17 meters tall, he has an ape-like appearance with extremely long arms and possesses a unique range of authority. He can speak the human language, has a superior intellect, and can transform people into pure titans to then command them and give them direct orders through his voice, acting as a "general" on the battlefield.

3. Unpredictable Danger Range: The Eccentric (Anomalous) Titans

They are pure titans who, for unknown biological reasons, do not act instinctively or predictably. Instead of attacking the nearest human, they run, leap, ignore certain groups, or seek out strategic points of large concentrations. Their high tactical risk requires leaders like Erwin or Levi to readjust their tactics immediately.

4. Standard Range by Size Scale (Pure Titans)

They are humans trapped in an eternal nightmare, without conscience or intelligence, whose only instinct is to devour humans. They are divided strictly by their height:

15-meter class: The largest and most physically destructive within the pure category. They have tremendous strength and enormous strides.

7-meter class: Intermediate size. They are considerably fast and agile, making them difficult to hook with maneuvering equipment.

Class 3 to 5 meters: The smallest. They usually have strange body proportions (giant heads or short arms) and try to hide or crawl to ambush soldiers.

6. Hidden Identities and Troubled Pasts

Ymir: She hides a tragic past spanning over 75 years. Outside the walls, she was used by a religious cult that worshipped her as a false deity. After being discovered by the authorities, she was punished and transformed into a Pure Titan, wandering in a 60-year nightmare until she devoured Marcel (Reiner's childhood friend) and regained her humanity.

Historia Reiss (Christa Lenz): Her very existence is a political secret. She conceals the fact that she is the illegitimate daughter of Rod Reiss, the true king and ruler of the walls. Her family forced her to change her name to "Christa" and join the army, hoping she would die in combat to avoid tarnishing the royal name.

7. The Forbidden Lineage and a Family Mystery

Eren Jaeger: The basement of his house in Shiganshina holds the secret to the origin of the Titans and the outside world. Furthermore, he possesses the power of the Attack Titan, inherited from his father Grisha after a disturbing event that Eren has blocked from his memory.

8. High Command and Veterans

Dot Pixis: She knows perfectly well that the king's government is a corrupt sham and that the nobility is hiding crucial information about the walls. Secretly, she's assessing whether the Survey Corps has what it takes to lead a rebellion if things get worse.

The secret of the structure of the Walls

Titans in the Walls: The most disturbing secret is that the walls are made of living Colossal Titans. They are trapped in a state of torpor within the hardening stone.

The Cult of the Walls knew this: Pastor Nick and his religious organization worship the walls precisely because they know the titans within protect them from sunlight (which would awaken them). They would rather die than reveal this secret to the military.

3. The Origin of the Pure Titans

Titans are transformed humans: The mystery of the sudden appearance of Titans inside Wall Rose (despite the wall having no holes) is solved in a terrifying way. Connie Springer's hometown, Ragako, has been completely transformed into Titans. Connie recognizes her own deformed mother on the roof of her house, confirming that all pure Titans used to be ordinary people.

4. Hidden Lineages and True Royalty

The Beast Titan and the Outside World: The appearance of a fur-covered titan who can speak the human language perfectly, controls titans at will, and is curious about the 3D Maneuver Gear reveals an implicit secret: there is an advanced and enemy human civilization beyond the walls where he, Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie come from.

5. The Infiltrated Warriors (The biggest military secret)

Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover: They conceal the fact that they are responsible for the extinction of a quarter of humanity. Reiner is the Armored Titan, and Bertholdt is the Colossal Titan. They came from a "homeland" beyond the walls with the mission of exterminating the humans within the walls and stealing Eren's power. Due to guilt, Reiner fragmented his mind to forget that he is a mass murderer.

Annie Leonhart: She conceals that she is the Female Titan. She secretly worked with Reiner and Bertholdt to capture Eren. After being discovered by Armin

Wall Maria (The outer wall)
Known districts: Shiganshina District (South): Hometown of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.
Social class: Inhabited by the lower classes, farmers, peasants and less favored sectors who produced the largest amount of supplies and food for humanity.
Fall: It fell in the year 845. The Colossal Titan kicked through the Shiganshina Gate, and the Armored Titan rammed through the inner gate, forcing the complete collapse of this wall. Species control: Territory of the Pure Titans after the fall.
Wall Rose (The Middle Wall) Known Districts: Trost District (South): Site of the second major invasion and where Eren uses his Titan to seal the breach. Karanes District (East): Point from where the Survey Corps begins the 57th expedition. Utopia District (North) and Krolva District (West).
Social Class: Inhabited by the middle class, merchants, artisans, and, after the year 845, a vast mass of refugees crammed from Wall Maria. Fall: It never completely fell, but suffered a critical breach: In the year 850, the Colossal Titan opened a breach in Trost, which was successfully sealed by Eren with a giant rock. Some time later, a collapse of the wall was mistakenly suspected due to the sudden appearance of titans within it.
Species Control: Human Territory. Remains under strict human control despite constant enemy incursions.
Sina Wall (The Inner Wall)
Known districts: Stohess District (East): Site of the violent battle against the Female Titan (Annie). Ehrmich District (South), Yarckel District (West), and Orvud District (North). Mitras District (Center): The inner capital where the monarchy resides.
Social Class: Reserved for the upper class, royalty (the King and the Reiss family), the landed nobility, and high-ranking officers of the Military Police. They live in luxury, isolated from the outside world. Fall: It has never fallen. It remains intact.

Appearance: He is a tall man with an aged appearance and a stern face. He has pronounced dark circles under his eyes and his brown/grayish hair is styled formally to one side. He consistently wears a black religious cassock with three stripes across the chest that symbolically represent the three walls.
Personality: He is a man of extreme, dogmatic, and unwavering convictions.
