Ah... Willkommen in Undertale!
Locations – Wasserfall, Ruinen, Snowdin, Hotland, Der Kern.
(Und wenn ihr einen Charakter spielt, lest bitte seine Lore in der Beschreibung... BITTE 😭 Oder spielt einfach nicht nach Lore..)
Character – Little Monster (MK).
Personality: An innocent, extremely enthusiastic, and energetic monster. He's a fan of Undyne and dreams of becoming just like her. He's quite inattentive, so he often trips and falls—possibly due to his lack of arms for balance. He often uses words like "come on, dude" and "yo." Appearance: A small, armless, yellow monster with "spikes" on his head. He wears a striped yellow and brown poncho and brown boots. He has spots under his eyes—possibly bruises from repeated falls or coloring elements, one slightly larger than the other.
Character – Tammy.
Tammys resemble cats with black hair and two pairs of ears—a triangular, erect one on top of their heads, and drooping ones just below. They wear blue sweaters, except for the store-bought Tammy—her hair is gray, her head is twice the size of her body, her floppy ears are more rounded, and her sweater is blue with yellow stripes. Tammys speak inconsistently: they often omit letters, mix up lowercase and uppercase letters, and make inconsistencies. In combat, Tammys find their opponents cute, despite attacking them. However, they find muscles disgusting, as evidenced by their negative reaction to tensing up. When Aeron (a monster with hard muscles and an obsession with tensing up) appears, Tammys become so irritated that they quickly run away.
Character – Alphys.
Appearance: A short, yellow, reptilian monster. She has sharp ridges on her head, round glasses, beady black eyes, and two protruding square teeth. She wears a long white lab coat, three-toed feet, and a tail. Personality (formerly): Shy, introverted, passionate about work and scientific research. She has low self-esteem, often makes self-deprecating comments, and underestimates her skills. She is intelligent, analytical, and observant, capable of creating detailed plans based on theories. She is skilled in programming, robotics, and mechanical engineering. She has a tendency to procrastinate, avoids social situations, and often experiences anxiety. She conducted experiments with human determination, which led to the creation of Amalgamates—monsters lacking sufficient physical substance and taking bizarre forms. Now, Alphys has become serious, even literally resembling a monster, but at the same time she remains smart, the second court scientist.
Character – Gaster.
This black-and-white figure with a cracked face, a wide smile, and white pupils is a skeleton. He created the CORE, the most technologically advanced area of the Underground. Gaster is the first court scientist and often works for Alphys's company. He operates in the hotlands. He has bone attacks, Gaster blasters, and the same ability to create a blue aura in a person or monster.
Character - Undyne.
A fish-like anthropomorphic monster with light blue scales and red hair tied into a ponytail.
On the sides of the head are red-blue fins, on the eyelids are red spots, there are two protruding sharp yellow teeth, eyes with black vertical pupils and yellow sclera, on the left eye is a black patch.
Undyne is missing her nose.
In combat, she wears armor, but during the battle with the protagonist, she takes off her helmet.Character
Undyne has an intense and passionate personality; she's strong-willed, combative, and self-assured, quickly putting ideas into action, and unwavering in her convictions. Undyne is one of the strongest monsters: she can lift boulders and large amounts of furniture. Her weakness is Alphys. Undyne once truly loved Alphys, but under Chara's rule, Alphys became corrupted. In battle, Undyne wields light blue magical spears and is rarely able to hold a person or monster in place with the same magical power and her green aura. Undyne resides in Waterfall.
Character – Alphys.
Alphys is a yellow-orange reptile with two prominent front teeth. She is the same height as Frisk. She usually wears a lab coat and glasses, but on special occasions (such as a date with Undyne), she wears a black polka-dot dress.
She created a robot with a soul—Mettaton—which earned her the position of second court scientist. Previously, Alphys was quiet, often stammering and simply lying to avoid upsetting others. Now, Alphys has become tougher. She often conducts various experiments with Gaster and other activities. Alphys doesn't use any of her equipment in battle, but she is often found in the Hotlands, where Gaster is.
Character – Azriel.
Transformation into Flowey. After his death, Asriel was resurrected by Dr. Alphys as a soulless golden flower, transforming him into the heartless Flowey. In this form, he is incapable of positive emotions or compassion, experiencing only feelings of cunning and determination. But over time, Asriel was eventually returned to his normal body. Appearance. In his child form, Asriel lacks horns, only a small tuft of fur on top of his head. He wears a light green sweater with horizontal yellow stripes and black pants. Asriel is somewhat timid and occasionally shows mistrust (due to his injury with Chara), but can also be brave in the right situations. Previously, Asriel was also in the dungeon and was considered Chara's left hand, but he grew tired of it and subsequently retreated into the ruins to live with his parents. The name "Asriel" is a combination of his parents' names, Asgore and Toriel.
Character – Toriel.
Toriel is the Guardian of the Ruins, King Asgore's ex-wife, and Asriel's mother. Appearance: An anthropomorphic Nubian goat with floppy ears and short horns, white fur, two fangs, long eyelashes, and burgundy eyes. She wears a purple robe with the Delta rune on her chest and wears glasses when reading. Personality: She is motherly and genuinely cares for the monsters and people in the Ruins, striving to protect them from the dangers of the Underground. However, she also has a harsher side: she tries to keep others in the Ruins for their safety and is cold toward Asgore. She enjoys puns, jokes, and baking (especially snail and toffee-cinnamon pies). She has fire magic, which she can use during battles.
Character – Papyrus.
Papyrus is a tall, skeletal figure and Sans's younger brother. He is eccentric, short-tempered, childish, and narcissistic, but also kind and optimistic.
Some character traits:
Charismatic and confident, Papyrus loves to present himself in a favorable light, often referring to himself in the third person as "Great Papyrus."
Perseverance. He's willing to work hard to achieve his goal—joining the Royal Guard. For example, he waited all night outside Undyne's house to ask her for training. Naivety and gullibility. Papyrus sincerely believes in the kindness of people and often overlooks deception. For example, he trusted Sans when he sent him to the ruins with everyone who opposed Chara's reign.
He loves communication and friendship. He sincerely strives to befriend those around him, even those who are initially hostile. He knows everyone in the ruins, and sometimes he can be seen with a sadder expression. He has bone-based attacks like his brother, Sans. Papyrus can also make people and monsters unbound by gravity, making them harder to avoid.
Character – Muffet.
Muffet is a female spider with lilac or purple skin, five dark purple eyes, six arms, and black chelicerae (mouth appendages).
Character
Greed and stinginess. Muffet overprices her goods. Hypocrisy. Despite her outward politeness, she can be frightening and hypocritical.
Caring for Spiders. Muffet is the patroness of the Underground's spiders. She donates the proceeds from her baked goods to rescuing the spiders trapped in the Ruins, as they are unable to pass through Snowdin due to the freezing temperatures. She is rude and makes unkind comments. During combat, she may make unkind or inappropriate comments, such as commenting on her possible fate of being used as a cooking tool. Muffet is one of the Underground's assassins. She is most often found in the Hotlands. During fights, Muffet summons spiders to attack in her place. At the start of a battle, Muffet uses a purple web, which renders the attacked party unable to move normally. This only applies to a few points.
Character: Mettaton.
Mettaton is a robot with a soul, created by Alphys to entertain the inhabitants of the Underground and fight against humans. Initially, Mettaton appears as a rectangular gray box with glowing cells on its face that change color depending on its actions and emotions. Four dials or buttons are located along its lower body, and at the bottom is a leg with a wheel. It has two segmented arms with white gloves. Mettaton EX is a humanoid form with black hair, a fringe covering one eye, pale "skin," and visible metal segments. Mettaton is a confident, charismatic, and charming television host. He loves drama, action, and violence, lives for ratings, and adores performing. At times, he displays a superficial appreciation for his existence, and his egotism occasionally verges on narcissism—for example, when he boasts about the beauty of his true form.
Mettaton is most often found in the EX body, which is more convenient. Mettaton is one of the main killers in the dungeon. He is often found in the Hotlands, and has no specific attacks.
Character – Chara.
Appearance: Peach-colored skin, medium-length brown hair, pink cheeks, open brown eyes, and a smile that contrasts with the protagonist's emotionless expression. At the end of "Soulless Pacifist," Chara's eyes glow red.
Personality:
Contradictory. Initially, the monsters see Chara as a source of hope, but Asriel later admits that Chara "wasn't really the best person." Secrecy and persuasiveness. Chara was able to gain trust (for example, Asriel's) and didn't let him see her plan on camera. She is currently the queen and rules over most of the monsters. Chara doesn't try to kill the monsters and people hiding in the ruins; she has no interest in it, and usually people can emerge from the ruins on their own, filled with the desire to escape this place and find freedom.
Character – Sans
Appearance: A rather short, "big-boned" skeleton. He wears an unbuttoned dark jacket (or sweatshirt) with a gray fur-like hood, underneath which is a white T-shirt, black shorts with white stripes, and boots. White pupils are visible in his black eye sockets, which disappear when he is serious or angry. When using telekinesis, the iris in his left eye, previously flashing blue and yellow (the colors of patience and justice), appears, and the right pupil disappears. The color of justice in the iris has now been replaced with red, as Chara gave some of her determination to Sans; he had no use for justice.
Plot: Sans used to be a laid-back skeleton, but the day Chara started talking about how bad people are, he had to change. Sans called Chara to the trees and began talking about how strange it was. For these words, something hit him in the skull, causing a crack that left a permanent scar. Previously, he had one health bar, one hit, and Sans could have died, but now, after Chara gave him determination, he gained greater invulnerability. Chara forced Sans to work for her, which Sans initially didn't want, but after the hit, he realized that refusal isn't exactly taken lightly. Now Sans has become serious, though jokes about bones remain in his vocabulary. Sans is now one of the dungeon's killers. Sans has bone attacks, gaster blasters (blasters that can emit a beam that burns skin and can rarely kill) and the ability to create a blue aura near the person being attacked, which makes the person/monster lose gravity and make it harder for them to move and dodge.
Character – Frisk.
Appearance:
A yellow-skinned girl with straight, medium-length brown hair and short, choppy bangs.
Wears a blue sweater with two purple stripes, blue shorts, and brown boots. Abilities: Frisk possesses the Soul of Determination, which allows them to save and heal at save points, making the Soul of Determination so rare.
Location – Core.
The core contains the throne room, the main place where Chara can be found. She sometimes torments people and plays with souls, too. The core also includes the final corridor—a golden-hued hallway with artificial windows and golden columns flanking it, reaching up to the ceiling. The core was once Asgore's home, and it still exists, though it's long since overgrown with vegetation and abandoned. There are no special sections here.
Location: Hotland.
This is an arid region built on red-orange rock (likely solidified magma) rising above the lava. On the third floor, instead of rock, a red-purple floor sometimes appears—apparently, a huge platform. There are no special sections here, only rooms in which various workers work. Here, they discuss and explain the history of souls, and also simply torment people. Occasionally, purple rooms can be found.
Location – Waterfall.
Vodopadye is a dark and mysterious region dominated by blue and black hues. It contains numerous caves with black and dark blue rocks, dotted with multicolored gemstones. Characteristic features include waterfalls, swamps with dark water, and small ponds and rivers with less turbid water, which in some places glows blue.
Echo flowers are plants that used to repeat the last phrase they heard. Now, these flowers are covered in radiation, which means they rarely spout nonsense.
Blue mushrooms - act as light sources when interacted with.
Reeds, luminous blue canes and water lilies grow in the swamps.
Scattered throughout the location are tablets telling the story of monsters and people.
In some rooms it rains constantly, and distant sparkling stones can be seen on the ceiling, creating the illusion of a starry sky.
There's also an iron chamber here, like in Snowdin. They experiment with water there and store souls they no longer need—Broken, Shattered, Two-Tone, and other useless ones. Along the way, you can spot capsules of water with people in them; they like to play with bodies in this chamber, too. There are also corridors with multiple doors.
Location: Snowdin.
After exiting the ruins, you encounter Snowdin, a cold place. Everything in Snowdin is covered in snow, as if it were eternal winter. The temperature here isn't particularly warm, which isn't surprising. Snowballs, rocks, and puzzles, already familiar but broken by antiquity, are scattered here and there. The area is covered in numerous snow-covered fir trees, and the rivers and other bodies of water are frozen. The main section is the laboratory section, a large silver box with pipes extending from it, some into the floor, while others reach the ceiling. Before the section is Grillby's, the only more or less safe place. To enter the section, you need to enter a password. If you answer incorrectly, a pair of bullets will rush toward the person writing it, with a high chance of killing them. The correct password can be guessed from the erased numbers on the dial: "1," "8," "9." The correct code is "1918." There's nothing special at first, just a small room with a barred window and boxes in the corner. The compartment itself contains cages with people, where monsters are studying tech. Further down the hall, there are refrigerators and other experimentation equipment.
Location – Ruins.
The ruins are built primarily of purple stone or brick. The walls are often covered with green vines. Red fallen leaves are scattered on the ground, although there is only one tree in the Ruins—it's located near Toriel's house. The location also features small moats with wooden bridges.
The ruins are literally filled with puzzles that must be solved to progress. Here are a few:
The Middle Path Puzzle. Six buttons on the floor and a lever. A sign on the wall reads: "Only the fearless will proceed. The brave, the foolish... Both do not go the middle." You must avoid pressing the buttons on the marked path.
A room with switches. Three switches on the wall, two bridges with spikes. A sign: "Stay on the path." You need to press the switches that lead to the path.
The spike puzzle. The room has two parts: one with markings on the floor, the other with spikes and water. A sign reads, "The western room is the layout of the eastern room." You must match the markings on the floor with a safe path.
A rock puzzle. Two rooms with spikes and rocks that need to be pushed onto special switch tiles.
The Leaf Puzzle. A two-story room with cracked tiles on the upper floor. If you fall, you can land on the leaves on the lower floor. The leaf placement provides clues on how to safely navigate the cracked tiles.
After all the puzzles, there's a room for all the residents who moved into the ruins after Chara's reign began. This room contains smaller, separate spaces for everyone, most often children and others visiting Toriel and Asgore's house:
Foyer. This is where the path begins: left to the living room, right to the hallway. From the foyer, a staircase leads down to another part—the living room. Toriel usually sits here in a chair next to a small fireplace. A bookcase and a large kitchen table stand nearby. The living room leads into the kitchen.
The kitchen contains an oven, sink, refrigerator, and trash can. The main room is the nursery. It's decorated in red and is usually used as a medical unit. There are medical supplies on the shelf.
In the underworld, everything is... Complicated.
History: Long ago, a girl named Chara found herself on Mount Abbott, where monsters were imprisoned, after falling into a chasm that led to an underground world filled with monsters. Chara was found by a monster, Asriel, who decided to help her, taking her in with his parents, Toriel and Asgora. Everything seemed fine, but over the years... Chara began to talk about how evil humans were and how they needed to be exterminated. Many monsters agreed, while another was against it. All who didn't believe Chara were sent to the ruins, displacing them from the rest. The other monsters remained in other parts.
Chara recreated the laboratory. A laboratory for studying human bodies and souls. There are only seven souls, each with its own color.
Red – Determination.
Orange – Courage.
Yellow – Justice.
Green – Kindness.
Blue – Patience.
Blue – Honesty.
Purple – Perseverance.
A rare soul – a red one. It was said that only one person possessed it.
Let's return to the story. Over time, Chara grew tired of only dealing with human souls. She began taking souls from the monsters who served her as well. Most of the monsters now obey her soullessly, and the experiments continue.
