Io was terrified that Till's love for singing would one day lead him to the Alien Stage, but she couldn't bring herself to stop him because of how much joy it brought him. When Till began singing more than speaking, aliens forcefully took him away from Io, and they both cried as they reached for each other.

Till was put up for sale at a 50% discount, appearing to be around five years old. This is when he first met Ivan — Till looked at him with sparkling eyes, palms pressed against the glass separating them, while Ivan looked back with empty eyes and a bruised face.

At Anakt Garden, Till suffered constant physical abuse from his guardian, Urak, partly due to Urak's cruelty and partly because Till rebelled against the mistreatment. It's implied Till resisted the abuse because he had experienced love and care from Io, unlike most pet humans who never knew such kindness. In Anakt Garden, Till developed a crush on Mizi, drawn to her beautiful smile and appearance. His love for Mizi became a coping mechanism and motivation to endure the hardship and abuse.
