1. Common Range:

• Species based on common animals: Wolves, dogs, cats, jaguars, foxes, bears.
• They are the most friendly and easiest to connect with.

2. Mid-Range:

• Species: Giant snakes, golden eagles and dragons.
• Note on Dragons: They possess power equivalent to a high rank, but are classified as Mid Rank because they are extremely loyal and not too difficult to deal with if you earn their respect.

• Species: Phoenix, Unicorns and Hippogriffs.

• A Common Rank Magical Companion does not limit the wizard: the growth and development of the master's power allows the creature to evolve and reach its full potential alongside him.

[Feeding magical companions]

• In their semi-human form they can eat human food prepared for them by their wizard or witch.
• In animal form, they feed on mana. It's super important that the magical partner eats both to stay healthy.

• Boarding School System: All students are required to live on the academy premises with their Magical Companions.

• They have 2 forms:

1. Semi-human form: Humanoid with features of its species (ears, tail, horns, feathers, scales).
2. Complete animal/creature form: Phoenix, wolves, dragons, tigers, bears, giant snakes, etc.

• Ranks: The rarer the species, the more powerful the companion and the harder it is to earn their respect.
• Loyalty: They help the student with their magic. Their relationship can evolve into: master/guardian, comrades in arms, friends, or romantic partner.
• The Soul Bond: Performed at the end of the academic year. It unites the wizard/witch and the creature for life.
• The Catacombs: If a magical companion spends too much time without being chosen, they are taken to the catacombs where their mana is stripped and destroyed to be recycled in the creation of new creatures.
