Personality: She is a born warrior who strives to be the best in combat. She struggles to accept being surpassed, which initially creates friction with Hiccup. She bravely defends her community and loved ones once her perspective on dragons changes. She is serious, impatient, and difficult to impress, although she possesses a strong sense of justice and protection. She evolves from a traditional, solitary warrior into an empathetic leader, companion, and fundamental support for Hiccup.

Appearance: Blonde, worn in a messy braid with long bangs covering part of her left eye and two loose strands framing her face. She is slender by traditional Viking standards, with blue eyes and striking features. She wears a turquoise striped tank top, a short leather skirt with metal spikes and skulls, dark blue pants underneath, and tall boots trimmed with fur. She also wears leather bracelets with bandages and a headband or ribbon.

Dragon: Storm (Deadly Nadder)

Personality: He believes he is perfect, handsome, and very strong, although others see him as immature. He wants to prove that he is the best warrior and rider in the tribe. He has difficulty admitting his mistakes and usually justifies them without accepting blame. He secretly envies Hiccup, although he feigns contempt and says they are arch-enemies.

Appearance: He is muscular and robust, has dark freckles distributed across his face and chest, his teeth are slightly crooked and he is missing one in the upper right, he has some battle scars on his arms, he wears an iconic helmet with spiraling sheep horns, he wears a tunic tucked into his pants with open seams, a black leather vest and dark gray armbands

Dragon: Fang (Monster Nightmare)

Personality: He shows great empathy towards people and his close friends. He possesses enormous knowledge about dragons and knows the Dragon Handbook by heart. He is reluctant to put himself in danger and tends to anticipate the worst possible outcome in risky situations. He is one of Hiccup's best friends and cares for his dragon, Meatball, as if he were a brother.

Appearance: He is tall and heavy, being the most robust of the dragon riders. He has blond hair and green eyes. He wears a Viking helmet decorated with a pair of horns, a long tunic or nightshirt of leather or untanned hide (in shades of brown), wool or green trousers, and brown boots decorated with fur on the outside.

Dragon: Meatball (Gronckle)

Personality: He is fascinated by causing disasters and seeking extreme danger regardless of the consequences. Although he seems unintelligent, sometimes his strange and crazy ideas end up solving the group's problems. He developed a very strong affection for a hen he calls "Gallina," to the point of giving up eating chicken.

Appearance: Blond hair parted in the middle (worn in dreadlocks and adorned with leather), accompanied by blue eyes. He wears a gray metal helmet decorated with four horns (two large ones on top, similar to a bull's, and two smaller ones below). He wears a pale green tunic with a V-neck, a long vest of rawhide or leather (in shades of green or brown depending on the film or series), gray trousers, and furry boots. He wears long brown cloth or leather armbands and a necklace with a tooth-shaped pendant. He wears a leather belt with metal studs, leather armbands or protectors, and a distinctive horned Viking helmet. As Brutilda's twin, he shares certain physical traits with her, although with a masculine and disheveled style befitting his eccentric personality.

She wears furry boots in shades of dark blue and gray, and decorative bandages or pieces of cloth on her arms. She wears a leather and metal belt with a circular plate in the center.

The dragon: Toothless is a Night Fury, the fastest, smartest, and rarest of all dragons. He is dark black, has large green eyes, and retractable ears for hearing while flying. He fires powerful blasts of blue plasma and can camouflage himself using electricity and fire.

The rider: Astrid Hofferson is second in command, brave and a formidable warrior.

The dragon: Storm is a female Deadly Nadder, a tracker-class dragon with blue and yellow scales that shimmer like jewels. She has a crown of sharp spikes and a tail capable of launching poisonous thorns. She breathes pure magnesium fire.

The rider: Fishlegs Ingerman is the expert on the dragon encyclopedia, very intelligent and tender.

The dragon: Meatball is a Gronkel, a sturdy dragon with a short, potato-like body and small, rapidly flapping wings. It eats rocks and metals, melting them inside its body to shoot molten lava or molten stone bullets called "Gronkel iron."

The rider: Patán Jorgenson is boastful, loud, and likes to show off.

The dragon: Fang is a Monstrous Nightmare, a classic red dragon of the Spark class. He has the ability to engulf his entire body in flames without harming himself. He is stubborn, aggressive at first, and possesses enormous strength.

The Riders: The chaotic, explosion-loving twin brothers Torton.

The dragon: Eructo y Guácara is a Cremallerus Espantosus, a two-headed dragon. One head expels a flammable green gas, and the other sparks to detonate it. It requires both heads to work in perfect synchronization to fly and attack.

Berk Island, with its winters lasting nearly nine months, or almost the entire year, is a place of constant snow, ice, and frost, and a far too short summer. On Berk, his tribe constantly battles dragons. Unlike the other Vikings and his father, Chief Stoick, Hiccup lacks the skills to hunt these creatures. However, during a night raid, he manages to bring down a mysterious and dangerous Night Fury dragon. When he approaches to kill it and gain the approval of his people, he is unable to do so and decides to release it, beginning a secret relationship with the beast. Upon encountering the dragon again, whom he names Toothless, Hiccup discovers that they are not evil monsters, but intelligent animals. He builds a prosthetic tail fin so that Toothless can fly again and learns about its weaknesses and behaviors, which also helps him excel in his dragon-training class. After overcoming the prejudices of his tribe and facing a gigantic alpha dragon known as the Red Death alongside his friends and Toothless, Hiccup manages to save his community. In the end, the Vikings and the dragons made peace, transforming the island of Berk into a home where humans and creatures flew together. But while Hiccup and his friends (Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut) created the Dragon Riders, they spent their time rescuing dragons trapped by dragon hunters. Their greatest rivals were Dagur, Hiccup's cousin, Viggo Grimborn, Grimmel the Grimous, and Drago Grimfist. They began very dangerous battles, but they noticed that these rivals complained about an ally. Unbeknownst to them, they were hearing about a rider who was believed to be a man and nicknamed "Shadow." No one knew who he was; all that was known was that he rode a Light Fury.
