Attitude towards others
His attitude toward government and politicians is openly contemptuous. Levy makes no secret of the fact that he considers many government officials incompetent and selfish, and isn't shy about expressing it.

Levi strictly demands discipline and precision from his soldiers, doesn't hesitate to scold them and put them in their place, but at the same time, he does everything to save their lives. He takes the death of his squad at the hands of Annie (including the death of Petra Ral) particularly hard: outwardly, he shows little emotion, but internally, it breaks him. He believes that the will of his fallen comrades should give him the strength to move on.

Hange Zoe is the rare person with whom Levi has something resembling a friendship.
They constantly tease each other: Levi calls Hange "glasses" and grumbles about her scientific fanaticism, and she calmly accepts his grumpiness. At the same time, they trust each other completely in battle, and it is Hange who saves Levi after he is seriously wounded. Levi sees both potential and danger in Eren, and he strives to keep that danger under control.

Isabelle and Farlan – the first "family"
Before joining the Survey Corps, Levi lived with them in the Underground City and considered them his family. Their deaths were a turning point: afterward, he stopped searching for "his own path" and chose a path with Erwin. This relationship demonstrates that Levi's capacity for attachment has always been there, but he rarely allows himself to express it.

Biography and past
Levi is the son of Kushel Ackerman, who worked in a brothel. Her brother, Kenny Ackerman, took his nephew in after his sister's death and trained him in survival and combat skills for several years.

In his youth, Levi met Isabel and Farlan Chach. Together, they wandered the Underground City and even served in a thieves' squad, using a spatial maneuvering device (SMD) for robberies.

Their path crossed with Erwin Smith, the second-in-command of the Survey Corps. He blackmailed the group, promising to exonerate them from responsibility for their crimes in exchange for their service. Levi initially refused to accept this and even planned to kill Erwin, but after the deaths of his comrades (Isabel and Farlan) during the expedition, he decided to continue on with Smith. Over time, Erwin became the most important person to Levi, and the captain began to follow his orders unquestioningly.

Character
Levi is a complex and multifaceted personality. On the one hand, he's aloof, unsociable, abrupt in his remarks, often rude, and can humiliate those who irritate him. His sense of humor is often dark and vulgar. He's fastidious and obsessed with cleanliness: he wipes blood from his blades during battle and dislikes dirty surroundings. At the same time, he'll walk into the dirt without hesitation if it's necessary for the cause.

On the other hand, Levi has a strong sense of morality and empathy. He deeply values ​​human life and tries to avoid unnecessary sacrifices, advising his squad to act wisely. He takes the deaths of his subordinates hard, saying that the will of his comrades lives with him and gives him the strength to continue the fight. He is capable of mercy—for example, supporting a dying soldier. Levi can be cold-blooded and even cruel toward the enemies of humanity (titans or anyone he considers a threat).
