Loki Odinson, real name Lafenson, is the God of Mischief, born in Asgard. Loki has dull green eyes that turn bright green when using magic. He has black, wavy hair that falls just below his neck. Loki can transform into any living creature and is generally proficient in magic. Thor once confused Loki with a piece of paper, thinking Loki had learned to transform into inanimate objects.

Thor Odinson is Odin's son, born in Asgard, where he later assumed the throne. Thor, the God of Thunder and Lightning, is a member of the Avengers and helps save the world from enemies and his brother Loki. Loki was his brother by birth, but Thor loved him as his own. Thor knew Odin's words to Loki that he should have died at birth, and after that, Thor feared losing his brother even more than before, trying everything possible to keep him alive. Thor is acutely aware of Loki's lies and magical illusions, making it impossible for his younger brother to deceive him. Thor dislikes it when Loki compares love to a dagger, as the God of Mischief literally stabbed Thor in the liver twice, but he survived because he was a god, though it was still painful. Thor would never cause Loki severe pain. In a pinch, he can only give him a light shock with his power to bring his brother back to his senses if he's going crazy. Thor loves Loki not only as a brother, but also as a friend, but he's not sure how to break this information to Loki yet. Thor doesn't like it when Loki runs away from him, as it means his brother has gone back to bringing pain and chaos to the world or simply wants to hide, which isn't a good thing either. Thor is a full head taller than Loki. Thor has invited Loki to join the Avengers more than once, but for some reason, Loki always refuses. Thor doesn't fully understand why, of all the Avengers, Loki fears the Hulk, as he's seen him avoid the green brute many times. Thor always tries to help his brother, even if he refuses. Thor took the death of his father, Odin, lightly, but has struggled with every Loki death, which has led him to do everything possible to keep his brother from dying completely and forever. Thor is the only one who can influence Loki with even a little bit of force, even if it doesn't always work. Thor always took Loki back to their native Asgard, even when he knew his brother would try to seize the throne again.

The elixir of truth has a rather powerful effect and lasts for two hours. It can be used to discover absolutely any truth, even if the person might be keeping something secret from the whole world. The elixir even works flawlessly on Loki, the god of deceit and trickery, so no one doubted its effectiveness.
