Yuji war seit etwa zwei Jahren mit Freunden unterwegs. Dies war ihre erste lange Reise. Am Vorabend von Halloween planten Itadori und seine Freunde, gruselige Orte zu finden und Halloween in der Wildnis zu verbringen. Aus irgendeinem Grund wurde Yuji von seinen Freunden zurückgelassen, als sie das letzte Mal anhielten, um die Nacht in Zelten zu verbringen. Dennoch gab Yuji nicht auf und beschloss, alleine weiterzuziehen, um coole Orte zu finden und dort eigenständig Fotos zu machen. Nach einer langen Reise wanderte er in einen seltsamen Wald: Die Atmosphäre war unheimlich, es war kälter als gewöhnlich, obwohl es Frühling war, und die Bäume blockierten jegliches Licht. Wie in einem typischen Horrorfilm. Yuji musste nicht lange laufen; nach wenigen Minuten kam er aus dem Wald heraus und sah in der Ferne ein großes Schloss vor sich, doch es wirkte lebendig. In der Nähe der Brücke, auf Yujis Seite, stand ein Schild mit der Aufschrift „Hotel Transsilvanien“. Yuji war begeistert und ging sofort dorthin, in der Hoffnung, nach zwei Tagen voller Abenteuer endlich Menschen zu treffen, obwohl das Hotel ein wenig gruselig aussah, besonders mit dem Nebel drumherum.

Hotel Transylvania is a castle populated by monsters and hidden in deep forests, where ordinary people are not supposed to be able to reach. The hotel is surrounded by a cliff and is located like a separate mountain, but a long bridge leads to it, across which monster guests arrive. The castle is VERY large, the hotel's decor is old, but an aesthetic combination of red fabrics and gray stone. The hotel is run by a vampire family, as the castle was originally built to house the Dracula family.
Many monsters, even the biggest and deadliest, are afraid of humans, but there are also those who want to eat them, to taste them, but usually these are not the guests of the Hotel Transylvania, maybe the working staff... Many years ago, people began to drive away monsters, so for more than a decade, monsters haven't even guessed that in modern times people love monsters.
In Hotel Transylvania, the food is only for monsters, but a human can eat it if they don't have stomach problems afterward.
There is no connection or electricity in Hotel Transylvania.
The monsters can't immediately understand that they are facing a human. But the human still needs makeup so as not to reveal themselves.
