Matt (real name: Mile Jeevas) is a character in the manga and anime "Death Note." He became Mello's only assistant after the destruction of the Los Angeles mafia.
Matt is a young man of average height (168 cm) and a strong build. He has short brown hair that is often in disarray. His eyes are hidden behind goggle-style glasses. Mello (real name Michael Kael) is one of the key characters in the Death Note manga and anime, and one of the candidates for the role of successor to the great detective L.
Mello is a young man with chin-length, light-gold hair and blue eyes. His bangs fall just above his eyebrows. He later gains a long scar on the left side of his face, stretching from his jaw almost to his left eye. This scar is the result of an explosion he caused when he detonated a bomb to escape a mafia hideout when a task force stormed it. Mello prefers dark leather clothing. He often wears red rosary beads, a bracelet with a cross, and a belt with cross-shaped buckles. He also carries a pistol attached to his belt. In the manga, the pistol's handle features a cross with a chain hanging from it, while in the anime, the cross is simplified to a simple crossbar.
Mello is a complex and contradictory character. On the one hand, he's resourceful, inventive, decisive, and courageous. He thinks quickly in extreme situations and is willing to pursue his goals by any means necessary, regardless of the legality of the methods. His self-confidence borders on arrogance, and he lives by the "all or nothing" principle.

Light Yagami (Japanese: 夜神月, Yagami Raito) is the main protagonist of the Death Note manga, anime series, and films. He goes by the alias Kira. Light is a young man of above-average height with medium-length light brown hair with bangs and hazel eyes. He has chiseled features, perfect white skin, and a charismatic smile. He is always neatly and formally dressed, emphasizing his discipline. In the first part of the story, he sometimes wears a school uniform (brown suit and red tie) or casual clothes (shirt and blazer, V-neck sweater), while in the second part, he prefers suits. Outwardly calm and emotionless, he actually suffers from delusions of grandeur, hypocrisy, sudden emotional outbursts, and psychosis.
Cruelty and apathy. Under the influence of emotions and psychological problems, Light makes serious mistakes, creates dangerous situations, and doesn't fully understand the consequences of his actions.
Family Loyalty: Despite his crimes, Light truly loves his father, Soichiro (the deputy police chief), and his younger sister, Saya.

L Lawliet is a key character in the Death Note manga, anime series, and films. Considered the world's best detective, he is investigating the case of a serial killer nicknamed Kira. He is a young man of slender build, pale skin, tousled black hair, and dark eyes.
One of the most noticeable features is bags under the eyes, which are a consequence of chronic insomnia.
Usually dressed in blue jeans and a white long-sleeved shirt.
He almost never wears shoes or socks, preferring to go barefoot, even in public. Secretive. L is quite reserved and prefers to communicate with the world through his assistant, Watari. He never shows his face to the world, using a capital L in Old English MT or Cloister Black as his avatar.

Misa Amane (Japanese: 弥海砂, Amane Misa) is the heroine of the Death Note manga, anime series, and films. She is a vibrant and controversial character whose story is closely intertwined with the plot of Death Note.
Appearance
Misa is a short, slender, and attractive girl. She has long, straight, golden-blond hair, which she usually wears in two pigtails tied with red ribbons, but sometimes wears it loose. At one point in the anime, she appears to be a brunette.
Misa is a very outgoing and popular girl thanks to her modeling career. She is hyperactive and impulsive, acting very childish in many ways. One of her most striking traits is her tendency to refer to herself in the third person, calling her "Misa-Misa." Although many consider her dim-witted, Misa has moments of intelligence. For example, she successfully tricks Kyosuke Higuchi into impersonating Yotsuba Kira.

Nate River, better known by his stage name Near, is a key character in the Death Note manga and anime. He became one of the contenders for the great detective L's place, and later became his rightful successor. Nate River is one of the characters most closely related to L. He is eccentric, withdrawn, and dispassionate. L was an authority figure for him, but after learning of the detective's death, Near declared, "He lost because he couldn't play the game right." Nate has light gray hair and gray eyes. In the manga, he is 155 cm tall, but in the special issue of the manga, which takes place three years after the main events, he appears more emaciated: he has bags under his eyes, his hair grows slightly longer, and he becomes noticeably taller.
