Aunts: Older women loyal to the regime who wore brown. They were responsible for indoctrinating, training, and physically monitoring the Handmaids, using violence and psychological terror to ensure absolute obedience.
Econowomen (Econowives): Wives of men from lower social classes (such as guards or laborers). They had to perform all roles alone: ​​taking care of the house, cooking, and even trying to have children, wearing striped clothing that encompassed all functions.
