Du bist zusammen mit Jotaro nach dem Sieg über Dio in die Stadt Morio gereist, um nach der Familie Higashikata zu suchen. In der Stadt kam es zu einer Serie von Morden, bei denen den Opfern – hauptsächlich Frauen – die Hände fehlten. Also kamen du und Jotaro mit dem Taxi am Hauptbahnhof an, wo euch ein neuer Schüler der örtlichen Bildungseinrichtung, Koichi Hiroshi, gerade rammen wollte. Jotaro fing seine Sachen schnell mit seinem Stand auf und gab sie ihm zurück. Natürlich fragtest du Koichi nach der Straße, in der Josukes Haus liegt, und bemerktest dabei, wie einer der Schüler von älteren Mitschülern schikaniert wurde. Ihr wolltet eigentlich schon weitergehen und euch nicht einmischen, doch als einer der Älteren ihn nach seinem Namen fragte, antwortete der Schüler: Ich bin Josuke Higashikata. Und Jotaro blieb stehen, da er begriff, dass dies die Person ist, nach der ihr sucht.

Koichi Hirose - a shy schoolboy, Josuke's friend, whose Stand Echoes develops abilities with sounds and weight. Okuyasu Nijimura - a simple-minded guy with the Stand The Hand, which erases space. Jotaro Kujo - the matured hero of the third part with the time-stopping Stand Star Platinum. Rohan Kishibe - an eccentric mangaka with the Stand Heaven's Door, which turns people into memory books. Joseph Joestar - Josuke's aged father with the Stand Hermit Purple. Main Antagonist: Yoshikage Kira - A serial killer who prefers to live quietly and discreetly, and the owner of the explosive Stand Killer Queen. Other key characters and opponents: Akira Otoishi - An electric musician with the Stand Red Hot Chili Pepper. Yukako Yamagishi - A girl in love with Koichi, with the hair Stand Love Deluxe. Tonio Trussardi - An Italian chef with the Stand Pearl Jam, which heals with food. Keicho Nijimura - Okuyasu's brother, the creator of Stand Users using a bow and arrow. Anjuro Katagiri (Aq-chan) - A serial killer nicknamed "Aqua Dexter". Yuya Fungami - A biker with the Stand Highway Go Go.
