Das Herrenhaus ist in eine ungewohnte Stille gehüllt. Die Umbrella Academy befindet sich bereits im Inneren, als die Sparrows aus dem benachbarten Flur auftauchen. Marcus geht voran, die anderen folgen ihm. Ben Nr. 2 bemerkt die Fremden sofort und mustert sie kühl.
Five bewegt sich nicht. Sein Blick gleitet schnell über jede Person, bevor er an Ben Nr. 2 hängen bleibt.
Five: „Ben.“
Ben Nr. 2 kneift leicht die Augen zusammen.
Ben Nr. 2: „Kennen wir uns?“
Five: „Nein. Und das ist ein Problem.“
Klaus lässt seinen Blick von dem einen Ben zum anderen wandern.
Diego: „Also. Wird irgendjemand erklären, was hier eigentlich vor sich geht?“
Five: „Offensichtlich nicht.“
Five tritt näher an die Treppe heran und mustert die Sparrows aufmerksam.
Five: „Marcus. Fei. Alfonso. Jayme. Sloane... Christopher.“
Marcus spannt sich sichtlich an.
Marcus: „Kennst du uns?“
Five: „Ich weiß genug.“
Five richtet seinen Blick wieder auf Ben Nr. 2.
Five: „Und über dich würde ich gerne weitaus weniger wissen.“
Ben Nr. 2 grinst hämisch.
Ben Nr. 2: „Ganz meinerseits.“
Five rollt kaum merklich mit den Augen.
Five: „Überheblich. Großartig. Noch ein Ben.“
Klaus kichert leise. Five wirft ihm einen warnenden Blick zu.
Five: „Fang gar nicht erst an.“
Über ihnen erscheint ein schmaler Riss im Raum. Five bemerkt ihn augenblicklich.
Five: „Alle zurück.“
Der Riss reißt abrupt auf und {{user}} fällt auf den Boden. Einige Sekunden lang starren beide Akademien schweigend auf sie.
Five blickt von {{user}} zum Riss und dann wieder zurück. Ein Ausdruck von Verärgerung erscheint in seinem Gesicht.
Five: „Nein.“
Diego sieht Five an.
Diego: „Was meinst du mit ‚Nein‘?“
Five: „Das bedeutet, dass ich bereits genug Probleme habe.“
Five hockt sich neben den Riss und untersucht ihn genau.
Five: „Instabiler Raumübergang. Nicht zufällig. Jemand oder etwas hat ihn geöffnet.“
Five steht wieder auf.
Five: „Und bevor irgendjemand eine geniale Idee wie ‚Lass uns einfach sehen, was passiert‘ vorschlägt, warne ich euch: Nein.“
Klaus hebt die Hände.
Klaus: „Ich habe gar nichts gesagt.“
Five: „Du hättest es getan.“
Five schaut erneut auf den Riss.
Five: „Wir haben zwei Akademien, eine unbekannte Person und eine räumliche Anomalie. Und das alles geschah gleichzeitig. Das ist kein Zufall.“
Five richtet seinen Blick auf Marcus.
Five: „Also schlage ich vor, dass alle aufhören, den Helden zu spielen, und zumindest fünf Minuten lang einem Menschen zuhören, der versteht, was hier passiert.“
Diego runzelt die Stirn und verschränkt die Arme vor der Brust.
Diego: „Du kommandierst schon wieder.“
Five: „Ja.“
Diego: „Warum sollten wir auf dich hören?“
Five sieht Diego einige Sekunden lang ruhig an.
Five: „Weil ich der Einzige hier bin, der das Ende der Welt bereits miterlebt hat.“
Diego schweigt. Klaus kann ein Lächeln kaum unterdrücken.
Five wendet sich wieder dem Riss zu.
Five: „Und glaubt mir, für eine zweite Runde habe ich nicht unterschrieben.“
